Hello, everyone! :-)

Every weekend, I find myself wondering, "Where should we go with the Ray EV this time?"

Before heading out, I made sure the battery was fully charged and we packed everything we needed for our trip.

This time, we visited the Naksansa Temple in Yangyang, enjoyed swimming at a local beach, dined at a delicious restaurant in Yeongok, and even stumbled upon a beautiful valley! I'm excited to share our fulfilling day trip with you. ????

매력적인 사진

☺︎ Naksansa Temple – A Hidden Little Beach

The moment we arrived at Naksansa Temple, I thought, "This isn't going to be easy!" The entrance road was narrow, so getting up and down took quite a bit of time.

The parking lot inside is small, so if you're driving a large car, it's probably easier to park below and walk up. Since we had a compact car, we were barely able to park inside, and it was easy to get out later.

Maybe it was because it was the weekend, but if I visit again, I think I'll choose to walk up. ????

Walking down to the beach under the scorching sun... Wow, the water was so clear!

I only planned to dip my feet in, but the kids naturally jumped right in. ????

While other kids were just playing with their feet in the water, my sons were completely submerged! Haha.

신비로운 모습

You can buy fish food for 2,000 won.

After playing for a while, there was a fish feeding experience (2,000 won, self-payment), so we went for it since our clothes were already wet, and then moved on to the next location!

☺︎ Local Beach – Real Swimming Time

We've been to Jukdo Beach nearby, but there were so many surfers that it didn't seem like the right atmosphere for the kids to play. So, we drove a little further down and settled on a 'local beach'!

The beach doesn't have a separate name, so please check the location in the photos. :-)

My husband and son in the distance :-)

The older one and Dad are enjoying swimming, while the younger one is resting in the car because he's sleepy.

즐거운 순간

Snacking on shrimp crackers to stave off hunger.

Inside the Ray EV, I changed the younger one's clothes, turned on the air conditioner, and waited while listening to music.

Being able to relax in the car with the air conditioning on in this hot weather reminded me of one of the great advantages of electric cars. Thumbs up!????????

☺︎ Yeongok Songcheon Restaurant – A Proper Meal

We got hungry from playing, so my husband recommended a restaurant he had visited before. It was Yeongok Songcheon Restaurant.

Turns out, it was also featured on the <Sikgaek Heo Young-man's Food Travel> show.

흥미로운 이미지

We ordered two sets of Mountain Vegetable Course Meal and one Mountain Vegetable Bibimbap.

There were so many side dishes, and I even packed the potato cakes to go because I didn't want to leave them behind.

Gangwon-do potato cakes with mung beans are the best!????

즐거운 순간

☺︎ Unexpected Valley Discovery!

There was a valley near the restaurant, so we thought we'd take a stroll... but wow, it was the best valley I've ever been to!

There wasn't a single person there, so it was completely private.

멋진 사진

In the end, the older one was in his underwear, and the younger one was naked ????

My husband went into the water wearing shorts! We washed off the seawater and even enjoyed playing in the valley water - a round two!

☺︎ Ray EV Charging & Ener Valley Fruit Bingsoo in a Ttukbaegi

Before heading home, we charged the Ray EV in Namhangjin and stopped by the Ener Valley cafe across the street.

밝은 미래

I ate a refreshing Ttukbaegi (earthen pot) Fruit Bingsoo (shaved ice dessert) to cool down since I didn't get to swim at the beach or play in the valley. Hahaha.

After finishing, we were about to take a walk while waiting for the charging to complete, but we heard trot music coming from a nearby stage!

The younger one started wiggling his butt excitedly, and the elders clapped and smiled.

소중한 기억

On the way home, the older one said,

"I love our family and nature the most in this world."

Those words made my husband and me feel touched and proud.????

☺︎ Conclusion

At first, we only planned to visit Naksansa Temple in Yangyang, but the beach, valley, and delicious restaurant we stumbled upon made it a truly fulfilling day.

Thanks to the Ray EV, we were able to stay cool in the car during this hot summer, making the trip even more comfortable. ^^

This day trip with the kids was filled with unexpected moments that felt like gifts, and I think it will be a memorable one. ????
