A Day Trip to Jamsil: Lotte World, Aquarium, and Delicious Eats!

This September, Hyokkung and I took our monthly trip to Jamsil! ✨
Last year, after having a blast at Everland, we said,
“Next year, let’s definitely go to Lotte World~!” and
Finally, in September, we made it! 😄✨
We planned a fulfilling 1-night, 2-day course: Lotte World 🎢 → Aquarium 🐠 → Lacose 🍖 → Olive Tree 💆♀️ → Sarijeong 🍜
🎢 Lotte World Adventure

You might wonder why a scaredy-cat who can't ride amusement park rides would go there, but
for me, an amusement park is just a place to eat churros + beaded ice cream! (+take photos📸)
To get straight to the point… Lotte World was a little disappointing.
Oh, but the collaboration goods were very cute! 😍 I still can't get over this bag.🥺
However, Hyokkung and I both have severe allergies, so
after being inside for a while, we got headaches and our noses started running like crazy 🤧
It got a little better when we went outside, but the foul smell of stagnant water + food odors was a bit tough.
Still, you have to eat churros when you come to an amusement park, right?
We also heartily enjoyed School Food Mozzarella Spam Egg Mari, BHC Colpop, and Paul Bassett Iced Americano.✌️
We also took some photos at Life4Cut, but
the employee was so unfriendly, it was a bit unpleasant 😒
You come to an amusement park to have fun, but
they were soulless and curt 🙄
Still, we got some great photos hehe.
But it wasn't fun enough to stay longer, so we left at 2 PM -
Even though we had all-day passes… maybe we should go to Seoul Land next time?🤔
🐠 Lotte World Aquarium
⏰ Hours: Weekdays 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM / Fri, Sat, Sun 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

But we had another course waiting for us! That's right, the Aquarium!
We were even more excited because it was collaborating with Sanrio.
I think Hangyodong was the most fitting!
Next was Cinnamoroll!!
There are so many cute and amazing friends!!!!
I was amazed, so how much more would the kids’ eyes sparkle? ✨
There are also many experience programs, so I think kids can stay longer.
Perfect for summer when outdoor activities are difficult, or for winter or rainy days!
I highly recommend it for indoor dates / things to do!
Especially great to visit with children! 👨👩👧👦💖

🅿️ Parking: Twin Lake Palace Building Parking Tower (Parking ticket provided)
We had to have at least one proper meal!
Pork knuckle!! Isn't it new?
Lacose was immediately decided because I was hooked on the knuckle ✨️
Cooking takes a long time, so reservations are essential if you want to eat Prague Koleno!!
Prague Koleno → 100% worth the reservation! An upgraded version of Jokbal (Korean Pig's Feet) 족발의 고급화버전 👍
Shrimp Aglio Olio → Perfectly seasoned and plenty of shrimp (🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤)
It was a completely satisfying dinner!
If there are two of you like us, please eat the pasta + Koleno combination.
The amount is just right! 👌

⏰ Hours: Open 24 hours, 365 days a year
🅿️ Parking: Parking available in front of the store building
The last item on today's schedule is finishing with a massage at Olive Tree!
There are couple rooms, so you can go in together, and you can focus on managing the areas you want.
Hyokkung mainly received legs, and I mainly received shoulders.
They really pinpointed the painful areas and relieved them. It was so refreshing.
I was satisfied because they kept checking whether the pressure was okay 👍
If you're planning to stay overnight after going to Lotte World,
I highly recommend a massage as the last course!
🍜 Sarijeong (Seokchon Lake Branch)
⏰ Hours: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Closed on Mondays)
🅿️ Parking: 2-3 cars can be parked in front of the store
For lunch the next day, I went to Sarijeong Seokchon Lake Branch because my favorite noodle restaurant in Ilwon-dong
had also opened near Seokchon Lake! 🙌
We each ordered Pork Noodle Soup + 1 pc of Masterpiece Dumplings.
I ate the dumplings as is and dipped them in the soup,
and they were delicious no matter how I ate them! 😋
The Pork Noodle Soup is full of vegetables and lots of meat,
so you can't help but be satisfied!!!
If you need more, noodle/rice refills are free
(But the portion is so big that I couldn't add any more,, I'm sad,,)
Finishing with the yogurt they gave us at the end is the end-
Highly recommended if you want a hearty and healthy meal! ✨
Ah! The owner is also really friendly 🥰
It was a truly fulfilling and packed ✨ September Jamsil trip ✨
We had a schedule to watch a baseball game at Munhak Stadium the next day,
so we went to Lotte World and the Aquarium on the first day,
but if you enjoy amusement park rides and the weather is nice,
I also recommend a course where you play at Lotte World for a long time on the first day → relieve fatigue with a massage →
and heal at the Aquarium the next day. 🙋♀️
Every month, I travel here and there with Hyokkung,
and I think we're slowly learning our own travel style ✨
Still, it was a trip that took care of everything to eat, see, and enjoy 🥰
