Looking for a great day trip near Seoul with the kids? Let me tell you about Gapyeong Sheep Ranch! It's a fantastic place where you can enjoy beautiful hydrangeas (still in bloom!), frolic with sheep and alpacas in a green meadow. It's also a popular spot in Gapyeong, even on rainy days.

Even in October, the hydrangeas were in full bloom, making it a truly enchanting sight. Taking pictures with the hydrangeas in the hydrangea garden made the visit even more special.

It was amazing to see the hydrangeas still blooming so vibrantly. That's why I highly recommend visiting this place in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do. The hydrangea festival runs until November 15th, so be sure to visit and enjoy the beautiful flowers!

Kids love feeding the adorable sheep. Interacting with animals is great for children's emotional development, so many families visit on weekends. I also enjoyed feeding the animals and reconnecting with my inner child.

The parking lot was surprisingly spacious, even on a weekday. Parking is free if you enter your car number when you purchase your tickets. The ranch is easy to find right next to the road, and parking is convenient.

After parking, head to the white building to find the ticket booth. Many people were using the self-service kiosks to confirm their reservations. You can get a 500 KRW discount if you book through Naver, so many people book in advance.

Across from the ticket booth is a souvenir shop. It's a must-stop before you leave! They have cute dolls and various accessories that are hard to resist.

To buy feed for the sheep, head to the feed shop. It's a short walk along the lower path. There are signs at every intersection, so just follow the signs.

They were already out of hay for the day, so I bought carrots and milk powder. I only bought one milk powder because it was for the baby sheep.

The sheep were already lined up at the entrance, waiting for food! It was so cute to see them running towards the gate, bleating loudly. I gave them carrots one by one and even petted them gently. I gave the remaining carrot to an alpaca, and it was so adorable to watch it eat.

Besides sheep and alpacas, there are also rabbits, guinea pigs, and meerkats, making it a hit with young animal lovers. My daughter loved feeding milk to the baby sheep.

Another reason why I recommend Gapyeong Sheep Ranch is that you can take alpacas for a walk! Unlike most places where you just feed them, here you can actually walk with an alpaca. After listening to the zookeeper's instructions, we set off on a walk with an alpaca. It was especially nice to walk slowly, gently waiting for the alpaca to follow.

Follow the sound of children's laughter to find the sledding area, which is free to use. Riding down the hill on a rubber tube was so much fun! My daughter and I rode it several times.

The hydrangea garden is currently in full bloom. It's amazing that there are still hydrangeas at this time of year. Many people were amazed by the blooming hydrangeas in the garden.

This is also why I recommend visiting Gapyeong Sheep Ranch on a rainy day. The rich scent of trees and the beautiful hydrangeas are even more intense in the rain, making it a truly healing experience.

After exploring the ranch, we headed to the cafe for some refreshing drinks and delicious pastries. The view from the cafe was beautiful. The sky was covered in clouds, and it looked like it was about to rain. Sure enough, it started raining. The sound of the rain and the view from the window made for a romantic moment.

The last stop is the souvenir shop. It's a must-visit before leaving. They have many dolls and accessories to browse.

I bought a cute rabbit doll and a pouch. I was also happy that the prices were reasonable.

Overall, Gapyeong Sheep Ranch was a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. It was also nice to see the animals and interact with them. The children running around and laughing made it a truly healing experience.

If you're looking for a place to go with your kids on a rainy day, I highly recommend Gapyeong Sheep Ranch. It's a great place to experience nature, interact with animals, and make lasting memories.
