A Day Trip to Cheorwon: Fall Foliage and Scenic Views

As autumn approaches,
we'd like to introduce a great day trip
to Cheorwon!
Cheorwon, with its autumn flowers fluttering in the breeze under the high sky, the columnar joint trail holding a long history, and the golden fields, is a place that leaves a deep impression even in a short day.

Once a military training ground, the Goseokjeong Flower Garden in Cheorwon is now a garden of peace, filled with flower fields swaying in the wind instead of the roar of tanks.
From sunflowers and cosmos to pink muhly grass!
You can enjoy a photo time full of autumn scents, showing off different charms each season.
Hantangang Columnar Joint Trail

The Hantangang Columnar Joint Trail follows the history of the gorge created by volcanic activity about 500,000 years ago.
Walking along the trail installed on the Hantangang cliff, you can see a spectacular view of the steep cliffs and blue river.
Enjoy the scenery slowly while feeling the autumn breeze!
Soisan Monorail

The Soisan Monorail course starts from Cheorwon History and Culture Park and goes up to the Soisan Observatory.
It operates at a leisurely speed for 10 minutes one way over a distance of 1.8km round trip, and from the open summit of Soisan, you can see the golden fields of the Cheorwon Plain shining under the autumn sun!
In the deepening autumn, even a short trip to Cheorwon will be special enough.
Get away now into the romance of nature!
