A Comfortable Journey Around Cheongpungho with Jecheon Tourism Taxi

Hello, this is Choi Gi-ho, CEO of Sotong Marketing Center.
With the support of Jecheon City and the Jecheon Tourism Association, I had the opportunity to experience Jecheon's representative tourist routes for two days and one night.
The highlight of this trip was using the Jecheon Tourism Taxi to explore Jecheon's major attractions efficiently and comfortably.
Without the fatigue of driving, I was able to fully appreciate the charm of Jecheon with the guidance of a knowledgeable local driver.
Jecheon Tourism Taxi — Your Comfortable and Fulfilling Travel Partner
The Jecheon Tourism Taxi is more than just a means of transportation. It's a 'mobile guide' accompanied by a local tourism expert.
The driver's local information and explanations add depth to the journey. You can conveniently visit places that are difficult to access by public transport. You can also flexibly adjust the course and time, making your schedule much more relaxed.
Cheongpungho — Jecheon's Signature Scenery
The first destination of this course was Cheongpungho. Boasting beautiful scenery in all four seasons, this place is a symbol of Jecheon travel.
Cheongpungho Cruise
The scenery viewed from the cruise ship as it crossed the lake was more magnificent and serene than any photograph. The fresh air and cool breeze made the start of the journey special.

Cheongpungho Monorail & Cable Car
Ascending to the summit by cable car and monorail, you can witness a spectacular view of Cheongpungho and the surrounding mountains at a glance. This moment alone makes it worth visiting Jecheon.
Bongdamtteul & Songirangge — Lunch
Leaving the impression of Cheongpungho behind, I enjoyed a leisurely stroll while admiring the rural scenery of Jecheon at Bongdamtteul. Then, at Songirangge, I tasted lunch prepared with Jecheon specialties and fresh ingredients. A menu filled with the fragrant aroma of pine mushrooms invigorated the journey.

Susan Slow City Cypress Forest — Gungye Experience & Companion Plant Growing
In the afternoon, I visited the Susan Slow City Cypress Forest and had a healing time walking along the green forest path. In particular, I was able to indirectly experience a historical figure through the 'Gungye Experience,' and in the companion plant growing program, I also enjoyed planting a small pot myself to take home.

Jecheon Pork Belly 'Honey Samgyeopsal' — Dinner
For dinner, I enjoyed it at Go-giro, a popular meat restaurant in downtown Jecheon. Honey Samgyeopsal and Sashimi Samgyeopsal, the representative dishes of Go-giro, had a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The combination of shishito pepper and wasabi sushi opened up a new world of taste.

Brown Dot Hotel Jecheon Hwasan Branch — Comfortable Accommodation
Ending the day's journey, I stayed at the Brown Dot Hotel Jecheon Hwasan Branch. Because it was a new hotel, the rooms and facilities were all neat and clean, and I was able to enjoy a simple breakfast the next morning at the Sunssal Bakery on the first floor. Thanks to this, I was able to start the next day's schedule refreshed.
