Just two days after finishing three weeks of training, I headed to Busan with my friends for the first time in about a year.

Dates: August 16th - August 18th

Transportation: KTX (Korea Train eXpress), Subway

We took the KTX, and after about a 3-hour ride, we arrived at Busan Station!

For lunch, we had Milmyeon (밀면, Busan-style wheat noodles).

Small size Milmyeon: ₩5,000 each

After that, we took a 40-minute bus ride to our accommodation to unpack.

This was our accommodation for 2 nights and 3 days. It had two floors and was smaller than I expected, but it was still decent.

Our accommodation was near Gwangalli Beach, so we unpacked and spent about an hour playing on the beach.

For dinner, we went to a Samgyeopsal (pork belly) restaurant.

₩11,500 per serving

We ordered 3 servings and then added one more.

And of course, we had fried rice with the leftover meat.

Then, we watched a drone show that started at 8 PM.

Before returning to our accommodation, we bought pizza.

The pizza I had was ₩6,900.

Back at the accommodation, we watched a horror movie and that was the end of our first day!

On the second day, we woke up early and decided to explore the market.

First, we had Gukbap (rice soup) for breakfast.

Gukbap for breakfast.

We took the subway for about 40 minutes and arrived at Gukje Market.

Then, we went to the Busan Film Experience Museum nearby.

I even got to become a character in a movie...

We went to Bupyeong Kkangtong Market and had some Teppanyaki ice cream. I was in such a hurry to eat it that I didn't take any pictures.

We also visited a place called Memory Treasure Island, which holds memories for our parents' generation. At first, I hesitated about going, but we decided to go anyway. There were more things to see than I expected.

Admission Fee:

Adults: ₩5,000

Middle/High School Students: ₩4,000

36 months ~ Elementary School Students: ₩2,500

After that, we went to a snack bar and had Milmyeon again. Again, no pictures.

We returned to our accommodation to rest, and then went out for grilled shellfish for dinner.

The price was good, and it was delicious!

We returned to the accommodation, showered, rested, watched a movie, and that was the end of the day!!

On the last day, we went to Busan Station and had Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) for breakfast. We waited at Busan Station, and after about 3 hours, we arrived home!!

I thought I would be tired from going to Busan right after training, but it was fun because it was a trip with my friends, and I wanted to go again next time.

Well, I'll end my Busan travelogue here.
