Here are three indoor exhibitions in Busan that are perfect for a fun date, not just for kids but for parents too!
01. Spongebob Exhibition IN BUSAN

SpongeBob SquarePants~ Just hearing the song makes you excited!
It's a nostalgic animation, right?
Let me introduce the cute exhibition at Yeongdo Pierark, "SpongeBob's Wacky Time Travel," which is on display until May 25, 2025!

If you're going to see this exhibition, you need to understand the 'time travel' concept well.
In Bikini Bottom, where SpongeBob lives, the most popular restaurant, 'Krusty Krab,' is facing closure due to a fire...!
So, SpongeBob and his friends, including Squidward, travel through time in a time machine to find the secret recipe for Krabby Patty.
The exhibition is about their time travel adventure! Sounds exciting!!
You can travel to the Wild West like this~
You can also visit the Jurassic period :)
Besides these, there are many other places to visit, events to participate in, and lots of fun things to enjoy.
There are SpongeBob sculptures outside, so be sure to take a picture!!
02. Nam June Paik, Nam June Paik, and Nam June Paik
Museum of Contemporary Art Busan (Exhibition Halls 4, 5)

Museum of Contemporary Art Busan

The exhibition I'm going to introduce this time is a retrospective of Nam June Paik, a master of 20th-century media art representing Korea and the largest in Korea!
Introducing "Nam June Paik, Nam June Paik, and Nam June Paik"!
This Nam June Paik exhibition, filling the 1st and 2nd floors of the Museum of Contemporary Art Busan, is divided into three periods of Nam June Paik's life.
Among them, the works from 1960 to the mid-1980s show his growth while studying music :)
Not only his difficult times in New York but also the 'media genius' Nam June Paik, who was very interested in media even in the 20th century!
The works of Nam June Paik are so immersive that you won't believe they were created in the early 2000s!
This exhibition in Busan is said to be the largest, so it would be great to enjoy an indoor date on a cold day, or a field trip with your children, while appreciating the works of Nam June Paik in chronological order.
03. Plastic, A New Discovery
Hyundai Motorstudio Busan
Exhibition Period: ~ 25.05.25
Hours: (Mon~Sun) 10:00 ~ 20:00
Free Exhibition
20 Gurak-ro 123beon-gil, Suyeong-gu, Busan
* Closed on the first Monday of the month, New Year's Day, Lunar New Year's Day, and Chuseok Day
* 3 hours free parking when visiting the exhibition
The last exhibition I'm going to introduce is "Plastic, A New Discovery," which is being held at Hyundai Motorstudio.
As environmental issues have recently become serious, this exhibition explores the problems of plastic, how it was created, and how plastic is currently used and discarded.
You can get a glimpse of Hyundai Motor's efforts :)
Since the history of plastic is presented in a fun exhibition, it would be fun to visit with children :)
Also, you can see Hyundai Motor developing eco-friendly new materials.
It was also fun to see the interior materials of IONIQ, which minimize harmful substances to reduce carbon emissions :)
Hyundai Motorstudio Busan is a studio operated by Hyundai Motor!
Although it is a car brand, it is always committed to design and the environment, and it is a complex cultural space full of fun where we share stories about sustainability :)
I've introduced a total of three places!
Isn't it a fulfilling and enjoyable cultural experience?!
Enjoy the last of winter warmly indoors with a date or with your children.
