The Table Kimchi Review: Fresh and Delicious Homemade Taste with Korean Ingredients

Hello! This is Tunisia. Kimchi is a staple side dish that is essential on the Korean dining table.
While some people make it at home, many people these days order kimchi online from trusted brands due to their busy schedules. I recently ordered The Table's whole cabbage kimchi (pogi kimchi), made with Korean ingredients, and I'm here to share my review, covering everything from the packaging to the actual taste.
Careful Packaging and Fresh Delivery
The first thing I noticed when the kimchi arrived was the styrofoam box.
Inside, a large ice pack was included, which helped maintain the freshness even during long-distance delivery. The kimchi was sealed in a plastic bag and tightly secured with a cable tie, so there were no worries about leakage.
I was very pleased that the bottom of the box was clean upon arrival and there was no odor leaking out.
When I opened the styrofoam box, the ice pack was completely frozen and felt cool to the touch. I had been worried that the kimchi might ferment during delivery, but that concern disappeared the moment I received it.
I ordered it in August, and I feel reassured that I can order it with confidence even in the summer or during hot weather.
Reliable Kimchi Made with Korean Ingredients
Checking the ingredient list on the packaging, I could see that the main ingredients such as cabbage, radish, red pepper powder, and scallions were all listed as Korean.
I ordered yesterday and received the kimchi today, with a manufacturing date of August 20, 2025.
The cabbage was over 68% Korean cabbage, and the red pepper powder was also Korean. The kimchi I ordered was 2kg.
With the recent concerns about the quality of kimchi due to cheap imported Chinese kimchi, The Table kimchi alleviated those worries.
When I took the kimchi out to serve, I was impressed by the large, crisp cabbage heads with the seasoning evenly permeating the inside.
Unlike fresh kimchi that is only red on the outside, this kimchi was thoroughly seasoned all the way through, making it very appealing.
The Taste of Korean Kimchi
The first thing I noticed when I tasted it was that it wasn't too strong. Some imported kimchis are too salty or sweet, but The Table kimchi wasn't like that at all. The seasoning was just right, making it perfect as a side dish with rice, and when eaten with meat, it had a clean taste that cut through the richness.
The broth was rich and refreshing, and I thought it would be great for making kimchi stew.
The fermentation was just right, not too sour, so it was fresh and flavorful.
Kimchi Texture and Quality
As you can see in the pictures, the cabbage stalks retained a crisp texture.
Instead of the tough texture of kimchi that has been stored for a long time, it had a satisfying crunch like freshly made kimchi.
The seasoning contained a moderate amount of radish, adding variety to the texture, and there was plenty of broth, which was great for mixing with rice. Most of all, the clean finish was a highlight – there was no lingering spicy or sweet taste in my mouth after eating it.
Trustworthy Awards
The Table kimchi isn't just a product for online sales; it has actually won awards at kimchi competitions five times.
It's not just a promotional phrase; the fact that it has been recognized for its actual taste and quality made it even more trustworthy.
If you have difficulty making kimchi yourself every time, these awards can be a great help in your decision.

Conclusion
The most concerning things when choosing kimchi are taste and reliability. The Table kimchi is a product that satisfies both of these needs. From the delivery packaging to the use of Korean ingredients, the clean taste, and the awards it has won, my review after eating it is that it's kimchi I would like to repurchase in the future.
