Seongsu has become a hotspot for pop-up stores, attracting a diverse range of brands. Among them, PGOG (Playground On the Go) stood out as a comprehensive pop-up store, featuring character merchandise, exhibitions, and photo zones.
The playful vibe emanating from the entrance was truly energizing! Flea, Emmy, and Kups greeted visitors as if they had just landed in Seongsu via paragliding.

???? Claynosaurz – Flea
While still unfamiliar to many in Korea, Claynosaurz is a globally popular NFT project based on the Solana blockchain, boasting approximately 380,000 fans on Instagram alone.
Flea, the representative character, is known for his cute and adventurous charm, which helps expand the brand's narrative.
This Seoul pop-up was their first opportunity to gauge the Korean market's reaction. The enthusiastic cheers from children and the joyful responses from parents indicated a successful start.
Moreover, it resonated perfectly with the colorful aesthetics, community engagement, and meme culture favored by Gen Z.
They plan to build a Korean fan base through various forms such as animation, games, and merchandise in the future.
???? Magic Eden – Emmy
The second main character is Emmy, from the Magic Eden wallet.
The Magic Eden Wallet (ME Wallet) supports various chains, including Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Polygon, and is a multi-functional wallet capable of NFT transactions and cross-chain asset exchanges.
This pop-up provided visitors unfamiliar with blockchain the opportunity to download the app and experience ME tokens firsthand. Creating a real-world Web3 experience beyond a simple exhibition was truly impressive.

Lastly, there's the fox character Kups, from Raposa Coffee's NFT collection.
They are building a fandom that combines art, characters, and community, going beyond simply being a coffee brand.
Notably, Kups NFT staking offers BEANS token rewards, providing tangible benefits like discounts, rewards, and invitations to offline events. Currently, the Kups NFT price is around $56.71. This model of linking NFTs with real-world benefits aligns well with current trends.
This pop-up also featured the first-ever Raposa Coffee tasting in Korea, offering a variety of options, including dark roast, flat white, caramel latte, Panama Geisha, and cold brew tonic. The emphasis on vegan options and clean ingredients was also a perfect fit for Gen Z tastes. The atmosphere was filled with a sophisticated vibe reminiscent of an overseas café.
