As summer vacation approaches in August, the Sunset Trail on Jaeun Island in Shinan is gaining popularity as a perfect getaway spot where visitors can enjoy both the stunning landscapes of the Dadohae and breathtaking sunsets. With the opening of the Angel Bridge, access by car has become easy, making it a favored destination for day trips or overnight stays in August.

This beautiful location shines as one of Korea's top five coastal trails designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Visitors can stroll here at any time of day without entrance or parking fees, making it an ideal spot for couples and families alike.

The first attraction is the 'Bridge of Infinity', a 1,004-meter-long deck bridge that stretches across the sea. Starting from Dunjang Beach and connecting to Gudo and Halmi Island, this bridge offers a unique sensation as if walking on the shimmering waters.

During high tide, visitors can experience the thrill of feeling like they are floating on the sea, while low tide reveals expansive mudflats perfect for observing the rich ecosystem. The round railings and horizon create a picturesque backdrop for stunning photos from any point on the bridge.

The second highlight is a tranquil 12-kilometer coastal trekking route that connects Dunjang Beach to Hanun-ri and Songsan-ri. The refreshing sea breeze and fragrant pine scent wash away fatigue, allowing for a rejuvenating walk even in the summer heat.
