Easy & Delicious Camping: A Seafood & Chives Pancake Kit Review

Inner Peace????
Hello, this is Inner Peace.
One of the biggest concerns whenever I go camping is always, “What should I eat?”
I go camping often, but it's not easy to prepare a new menu every time.
Basic options like grilled pork belly, sausages, and ramen are fine, but sometimes you crave something a little more special.
Especially this time, I wanted to enjoy a camping trip with a glass of cold Makgeolli (Korean rice wine), so I was even more concerned about finding the perfect 'alcohol pairing' dish.
So today, I'm going to share my review of a seafood and chives pancake (Haemul Buchu Jeon) meal kit that I recently enjoyed on a camping trip.
As the title suggests, it's an easy camping meal that doesn't require a recipe, so preparation is quick, and it was the perfect side dish for alcohol!
Can You Make Pancakes While Camping?
Actually, I never really thought about making pancakes at a campsite. The reasons are simple:
1. The hassle of preparing the batter in advance.
2. The heavy bag from carrying ingredients like seafood, chives, and onions.
3. The desire to minimize luggage and eat simply while camping.
Because of these three things, I always packed meat or simple pre-made foods.
But this time, I discovered a seafood and chives pancake meal kit.
I thought it was perfect and picked it up from Kurly. It was "My Chef's Crispy Seafood & Chives Pancake!"
Apparently, it was also featured on EBS's Best Cooking Secrets show! Haha
I never knew it would shine so brightly during camping ✨
Ingredients and Preparation
Inside the meal kit, the pancake mix was already mixed with pre-cut seafood and chives in appropriate proportions.
So, no separate preparation was needed at all.
I just needed to add a little water and mix it to complete the batter.
Water is readily available at campsites, so it wasn't a problem at all.
I only prepared two things:
1. Frying pan
2. Cooking oil
That's it! It was really the perfect easy camping meal that didn't require a recipe.
Cooking at the Campsite
As evening approached, I placed the frying pan on the grill, drizzled some oil, and poured a generous amount of batter.
The sizzling sound already made my mouth water. ????
The satisfaction of hearing the crispy sound getting louder and watching it cook to a golden brown...
As soon as I took the first bite, the savory taste of the seafood and the fragrant aroma of the chives spread throughout my mouth.
I never knew I would experience such a taste at a campsite.
When eaten with Makgeolli, it became the best pairing for alcohol. ????✨
Advantages of the Seafood & Chives Pancake Meal Kit
1. Convenience → No preparation required.
2. Perfection of taste → Tastes as good as eating in a specialty restaurant.
3. Optimized for camping → Reduces luggage and saves time.
4. Perfect pairing for alcohol → Goes well with both beer and soju.
Personal Thoughts
Usually, grilling meat was my routine when camping, but this time, I brought a seafood and chives pancake meal kit for the first time. As a result, I was really satisfied, and I plan to bring it consistently in the future.
Especially on rainy days or cool evenings, making warm pancakes will enhance the atmosphere, right? ????️????
When camping, what matters most is how well you can balance convenience + taste + atmosphere.
This meal kit satisfied all three.
Conclusion
Today, I shared my review of the seafood and chives pancake meal kit.

Or for those who want to easily prepare something to pair with alcohol, I highly recommend it.
It's an easy camping meal that doesn't require a recipe, and it can solve your worries about what to eat with alcohol, so I think you'll have a satisfying experience like I did. ????
