After catching a play in Daehakro, what could be better than exploring traditional tea houses, art galleries, and time-honored restaurants?
I love following the classic route: theater → dinner → cafe → Ssamziegil. And after all that, I always make sure to check out the nearby accessory and vintage shops.
Among them, today I'm introducing 'Insadong Vintage Shop,' a Jongno clothing store where I always seem to find that perfect, one-of-a-kind item!
Location Information: 30-1, Insadong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, B1 floor
Hours: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
You can reach it in 8 minutes on foot from Jongno 3-ga Station Exit 5, or from Anguk Station Exit 6, walk straight past Ssamziegil, and you'll arrive in just 6 minutes!
Since they're open from 10 AM to 10 PM every day, weekdays and weekends alike, it's easy to stop by whenever you want. It's a great place to browse clothes casually while hanging out nearby :)
Especially in the evening, the neon sign that says 'Insadong Vintage' shines brightly, adding to the atmosphere.
Head down to the B1 floor following the sign and you'll arrive at the store.
Inside
Insadong Vintage is a place full of things to see, where you can purchase a wide variety of clothes at reasonable prices!
From eye-catching outerwear in vibrant colors, denim skirts and jeans, to trendy items like sporty jackets...
They also have a wide selection of brand items like Stussy t-shirts, Carhartt WIP, and Polo Ralph Lauren shirts.
There are also many fashionable accessories, such as stylish sports bags, sunglasses, and snapbacks. Every time I come, I spend ages looking around, wondering what to try on first!
Unlike other vintage shops, most of the clothes have sizes marked on them, making it easier to choose.
And if you're not sure what suits you, the staff are friendly and helpful, so even fashion novices can shop with confidence.
The staff themselves are so stylishly dressed that just looking at them gives you a boost of style inspiration!
There's also a separate women's clothing section, and the fact that you can buy high-quality clothes at low prices thanks to the many discount events is the biggest appeal of Insadong Vintage.

Fitting
The fitting rooms aren't just curtained off; they're enclosed, with a door you can lock from the inside, which is much more comfortable.
I grabbed three tops, a denim skirt, and two pairs of shorts to try on.
The most eye-catching item was the white cropped tweed jacket.
The airy fabric, gold buttons, and voluminous shoulder line were all so appealing, but it was just a little too small, so I had to give it up ㅠㅠ.
Next time, I'll come back after losing some weight and try again!
The dark charcoal denim jacket looked like it would be great for everyday wear, especially paired with my favorite denim shorts.
In fact, after buying it, I wore it non-stop for a while haha.
Also, the Stussy crew neck t-shirt was exactly the style I'd been looking for for so long, so I didn't even check the price properly and just bought it right away!
Thanks to that, I can finally wear the outerwear I bought a bunch of at Zara a while ago, which had been languishing in my closet because I didn't have anything suitable to wear underneath!!
My bank account was already running low, so I was just planning to browse, but that was never going to happen… The moment I found those must-have items, I paid in an instant.
