However, it's not easy to make it yourself in a busy life. So, this time, I ordered a set of Jeolla-do style scallion kimchi and mustard leaf kimchi (1kg each) from Bo Bae Kimchi.

The delivery arrived safely in a Styrofoam box with ice packs.
The packaging carefully indicated the manufacturing date and ingredients.

Kimchi is a fermented food, so hygiene management is particularly important. This product is made in a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certified facility, so I could rest assured.

The HACCP mark was also on the packaging, so as soon as I received it, I thought, “I can trust and eat this.”
Korean Scallion Kimchi Review (Visuals + Taste)
As soon as I opened the Korean scallion kimchi after arrival, the contrast between the green scallion stalks and the red seasoning was striking.
Looking at the scallion kimchi in the picture, the long scallions are evenly coated with spicy seasoning, and the glossy appearance is mouth-watering.
The video confirmed that the seasoning was moistly absorbed between the scallions, and the actual product I received was not much different from the screen.
When I tasted it, the subtle scallion flavor and the spicy and salty seasoning harmoniously blended, and the word “밥도둑” (rice thief – meaning it makes you eat a lot of rice) came out naturally.
Thanks to the non-tough and crunchy texture, my spoon wouldn't stop whenever I put it on top of rice.
The taste was just like the visuals – the saying “Good-looking kimchi tastes good too” was perfect.
Korean Mustard Leaf Kimchi Review (Visuals + Taste)
Dol-san mustard leaf kimchi had a visually rich Jeolla-do kimchi feel with its unique dark green leaves and red seasoning.
The mustard leaf kimchi in the provided picture had spicy seasoning evenly absorbed into the fresh leaves.
The video clearly showed the gloss on the seasoning and the texture of the mustard leaves.
When I actually tasted it, the unique pungent aroma of mustard leaf came up in the first bite, and the subtle bitterness and savory taste came out as I chewed. As it aged a little more, the deep flavor rose, and the unique charm of Jeolla-do style mustard leaf kimchi came to life even more. I received it today and tasted it right away, and I could see that the manufacturing date was written as August 27th.
Mustard leaf kimchi was satisfying enough just to eat it on top of warm rice.
It went well with mild side dishes such as egg rolls or tofu, making a meal richer.
Thanks to its unique pungent taste, ordinary home-cooked meals felt much more special.
Storage and Usage
Kimchi can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for a long time.
If you add scallion kimchi to kimchi fried rice, you can bring out a unique flavor with the scent of scallions.
I recommend mustard leaf kimchi because it enhances the taste of the broth when eaten with knife-cut noodles or banquet noodles.
It has a different personality from cabbage kimchi, so it was a great choice when you need a different side dish.
