The University Song Festival Returns After 13 Years!

Many must have been thrilled to hear that the University Song Festival is returning after 13 years.
This year's 'MBC University Song Festival' is being held for the first time since 2012, and approximately 2,000 university students from 115 universities worldwide, including Korea, have applied.
Isn't that an amazing number?
The preliminary rounds were held twice in Seoul and Busan, and a total of 11 teams will advance to the finals to showcase their original songs.
On this stage, full of youthful passion and creative energy, the participants' outstanding skills are receiving high praise from the judges, garnering much anticipation.
The opening of this final round, hosted by Jang Do-yeon, Lee Jun-young, and Kim Min-ju, is also highly anticipated.
The judging panel includes prominent musicians such as Yoon Sang, Lee Juck, Park Kal-lin, Lee Won-seok, Lee Young-hyun, Yook Joong-wan, and Kim Yong-jun, raising expectations for the birth of new stars.
In particular, Yook Joong-wan expressed his anticipation, saying, "I think the next IU will be born," and Kim Yong-jun exclaimed, "If non-majors are this good, what are people like us supposed to do?" showing his amazement at the participants' skills.
It's truly impressive to see so many musicians supporting the passion of youth.
Also, a special stage has been prepared to celebrate the revival of the University Song Festival.
Various artists, including Lee Sang-mi from EX, the winner of the 2005 University Song Festival, Dynamic Duo, WOODZ, Lee Mu-jin, and LUCY, will reinterpret past winning songs, promising a lot to see.
Particularly noteworthy is the news that the late Shin Hae-chul's two children will present a special performance.
