In 2011, Park Ji-yeon experienced kidney problems due to pregnancy toxemia while pregnant with their second son. At the time, she received a kidney transplant from her father, but her condition later worsened, leading to a difficult period.
However, in August 2024, her older brother directly donated a kidney, and she successfully underwent a second transplant surgery.
Park Ji-yeon has since recovered her health and returned to daily life with her husband, Lee Soo-geun, and has been steadily sharing her recent updates through social media.
