Fans Express Concerns Over WHIB's Internal Dynamics Following Live Stream Incident

Recently, fans have been expressing concerns about the internal situation of the boy group WHIB.
A clip from a group live stream rapidly spread on X, showing members singling out and criticizing one member.
WHIB is a boy group under C-JeS Studio that debuted on November 8, 2023. Initially an eight-member group, Inhong left the team last month, and they are currently promoting as a seven-member group.
The members include leader Kim Junmin, Hasseung, Jinbeom, Yugeon, Leejeong, Jaeha, and Wonjun, all of whom are Korean.
◇ Summary of the Incident
WHIB was waiting to begin their 2nd-anniversary live broadcast. Unaware that the camera was already on, the members continued their conversation.
Leejeong was leaning back on the sofa on the far right, while Kim Junmin was not visible on screen as he had briefly gone to the restroom.
(Conversation Excerpt)
Member A: Leejeong-ah! Leejeong-ah, seriously... What are you doing right now?
Member B: Can't you hear us? Were you about to fall asleep?
(Leejeong gets up)
Member C: This is legendary, you right now.
Member D: You really have no sense of urgency.
Leejeong: (Waving his hand) If it's this kind of atmosphere, if you're going to gang up on me like this, I really don't know.
(Leans back on the sofa again)
The broadcast started immediately after this conversation.
Fans are criticizing the other five members for ganging up on Leejeong, who was simply leaning on the sofa. They are saying that their tone is what's truly legendary.
It has also come to light that Leejeong was not in good condition that day due to a cold. Despite knowing this, the WHIB members are being criticized for cornering him to the point of bullying.
WHIB members are receiving backlash for their ingratitude, as they are seen criticizing Leejeong and Kim Junmin, who fans believe they should be grateful to. This is because the two members significantly boosted the group's recognition by participating in Mnet's survival program, Build Up : Vocal Boy Puzzle.
In the final live broadcast of Build Up, Leejeong and Kim Junmin ranked 12th and 13th respectively, narrowly missing the debut team. However, both were popular contestants.
After the show, both returned to their original team, WHIB. While they haven't made a comeback yet, they will be meeting fans at their first fan concert in two years since their debut, 'AnD : New Chapter'.
Date - Sunday, November 30th, 6 PM
Location - Sungshin Women's University Unjeong Green Campus Auditorium
Fans who watched the video are commenting that Leejeong should leave the group instead of being mistreated there.
Some fans are suggesting that Kim Junmin and Leejeong would be more popular as a unit.
While some understand that the other members may be experiencing jealousy due to the popularity gap, they should still be grateful for the benefits they receive.
