Exploring Seoul's Hotspot: Cafe San 1-1 - A Namsan View and 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' Location

Today, I want to share my experience exploring a Seoul hotspot with my sisters.
We visited Cafe San 1-1, near Naksan Park, famous for being a backdrop in the Netflix animation 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (Kededeon).
It's easily accessible from Hyehwa Station. We visited with high expectations, drawn by the promise of romantic views of Seoul, just like the characters in the animation.
As we walked along the Naksan Park Fortress Wall, a filming location for Kededeon, we saw many foreign tourists, proving its popularity.
Cafe San 1-1 Atmosphere with Namsan View in Hyehwa
San 1-1 is located near the end of Ihwa Mural Village and the Naksan Park Fortress Wall.
You can park at the Korea National Open University parking lot and slowly walk up the stairs, enjoying the murals along the way.
The cafe has three floors, each with its own unique concept and charm.
The first floor had a mysterious atmosphere, like entering a cave, with lush plants and stone wall decor.
The sound of cool water added to the unique experience.
Even the bathroom view was amazing!
The second floor had a mix of terrace and indoor space, offering views of both Namsan Mountain and the surrounding rocks.
The third-floor terrace offered fantastic panoramic views of Namsan Mountain and downtown Seoul.
Sitting on the outdoor terrace, enjoying the cool breeze and looking down at Seoul, I felt like I was escaping from my complicated daily life and relaxing.
When we visited, there were many foreign tourists who had visited Naksan Park, a filming location for Kededeon, creating a lively atmosphere.
I was impressed by the thoughtful touches, like providing essential items for customers.

They offer a variety of food and drinks.
We ordered mango juice, iced Americano, iced vanilla latte, tiramisu, and premium ice cream waffle.
Mango Juice: ₩8,500
Iced Americano: ₩6,500
Iced Vanilla Latte: ₩7,500
Tiramisu: ₩9,000
Premium Ice Cream Waffle: ₩17,000
The iced Americano was clean and refreshing, perfect for enjoying with the view.
The sweet mango juice and smooth iced vanilla latte were also a hit with my sisters.
The desserts exceeded our expectations.
The moist and soft tiramisu melted in our mouths.
The premium ice cream waffle, with crispy waffle, sweet ice cream, and generous whipped cream, was delicious.
Thanks to the delicious drinks and desserts at Cafe San 1-1, our conversation with my sisters was even more enjoyable.
Naksan Park Fortress Wall, Filming Location for K-Pop Demon Hunters
Cafe San 1-1 is located near Naksan Park, the filming location for Kededeon, making it very accessible.
I recommend following our course: starting at Hyehwa Station, taking photos along the Naksan Park Fortress Wall (the Kededeon filming location), and then relaxing at the cafe while enjoying the beautiful Namsan view.
We were also excited to discover that the cafe was offering a special event: Write a review and receive two theater tickets!
Hyehwa Station is close to Daehakro (University Street), which is great for watching plays, so enjoying the amazing view and delicious desserts at the cafe, and then getting to enjoy a bit of culture as well, was really great.

895m from Exit 1 of Dongdaemun Station (Lines 1 & 4)
Korea National Open University Parking Lot - ₩400 per 5 minutes
Since I was planning to see a play, I parked at the Korea National Open University parking lot, which is closer to the theater.
If you're only visiting the cafe, there is the Naksan Park Public Parking Lot, which is closer.
However, keep in mind that the number of parking spaces is limited and the road up is narrow.

If you are looking for a special cafe in Hyehwa, I highly recommend Cafe San 1-1 near Naksan Park, the filming location for Kededeon, with its fantastic Namsan view.
It's a place that satisfied everything: a great view, delicious food, and an amazing event.
It was a perfect day where I could make happy memories with my sisters.
I will be back soon to see another play.
