Oceanfront Getaway: A Family-Friendly Stay at Ocean Soleview Hotel in Yeongjongdo

I recently visited Ocean Soleview Hotel in Yeongjongdo, located in Gueup Batteo, with my child for a family trip. It was a fantastic ocean view hotel that was both kid-friendly and offered great value, so I wanted to share my experience.
Located in Incheon, this hotel offers stunning panoramic sea views from the terrace, making it a highly recommended spot. Let me share my review.

Gueup Batteo is an attractive place to stay, offering affordable beachfront hotels. Its convenient location, close to both Incheon and Seoul, makes it a popular travel destination. I often take a ferry from Wolmido with my child, which is a fun experience. If you're looking for a family-friendly destination, I highly recommend visiting Yeongjongdo.
At Ocean Soleview Hotel, check-in is from 3 PM, and check-out is until 11 AM the next day. Free parking is available within the hotel building. One of the main reasons I choose Gueup Batteo is its proximity to many restaurants, Wolmido, and various cafes, making it perfect for a short and sweet one-night trip.

The ocean view is fantastic! The hotel building houses a cafe, convenience store, and chicken restaurant on the first floor, and a Korean BBQ place on the second floor. You can easily enjoy meals and drinks, and nearby are many seafood and grilled clam restaurants, making it a great place for a foodie trip.
This wasn't my first time staying in Gueup Batteo. Last time, the room I wanted wasn't available due to the weekend, so I booked a duplex room instead. My child actually preferred this room!

The room I booked could accommodate four people and featured a duplex layout and a small terrace on the balcony.
What I loved about this place was the cozy and warm interior. Being able to enjoy the ocean view from both the first and second floors was truly charming.
The weather was great that day, allowing me to fully appreciate the beautiful ocean view. The sunshine and the panoramic ocean views put me in a great mood. The wood-tone interior gave the room a clean and neat vibe.

The room was decorated with trendy, stylish props, making me want to take lots of pictures. It had a studio-style layout with a terrace, bathroom, and kitchen, and cooking was possible. Amenities included a refrigerator and an induction cooktop.
As a homemaker, I immediately noticed the wooden cooking utensils and cutting board as soon as I entered the room. I admired how pretty it looked and wished I could recreate the same vibe in my own home!

The white and wood tones of the room created a calm and inviting atmosphere, and I thought it would be lovely to decorate my home in a similar style. The kitchen was well-equipped with garbage bags for food waste, cooking utensils, cups, silverware, a coffee pot, and more.
The bathroom was clean, and amenities like shampoo and body wash were thoughtfully provided. The microwave, refrigerator, and induction cooktop made simple cooking easy.
My daughter especially loved the duplex space. She has been asking for a bunk bed at home, and she seemed to really enjoy having a little hideout.

One of the highlights of the trip for my child was the ability to watch movies on a projector screen in the duplex area. She loved watching YouTube videos and seemed to be having a blast. It made me so happy to see her enjoying herself.
Last time I booked a room through Airbnb, it had a Japanese Ryokan vibe. This room also had a similar Japanese aesthetic. It seems like the owner has a fondness for this style!
Both rooms were clean and well-maintained, making my stay with my child very pleasant. More importantly, I was able to book the room at an affordable price. Its accessibility makes Gueup Batteo a great place to visit.

The room had a terrace where you can enjoy a cup of coffee. After my child fell asleep, my husband and I enjoyed some beer there. This is the best part of visiting Yeongjongdo Ocean View Hotel.
In the evenings, there were many performers in front of the hotel. Enjoying a beer while listening to live music was heavenly. While long vacations are great, it's also nice to take a break closer to home, enjoy the ocean view, and relax.

The previous room I booked through Airbnb also allowed me to relax and enjoy the ocean view. While beachfront hotels are usually expensive, Gueup Batteo offers great value, making it a place I want to visit often!
The area has many restaurants and cafes, making it a great place to travel. Last weekend, when I booked my stay at Gueup Batteo, there was a flea market. This time, they were selling small snacks and clothes. It seems like it is always open on weekends!

Being near the sea, there are many ocean view cafes, seafood restaurants, and raw fish centers. During this trip, I enjoyed delicious food and had a great time at a cafe with an ocean view.
If you are planning a trip to Yeongjongdo Gueup Batteo, I highly recommend spending some quality time at Ocean Soleview Hotel!
