Have Fun Camping Around: A Family's Review of Their Favorite Campground

We're a camping family of four years, and our camping trip last week marked our 51st!
Having been to Have Fun Camping Around for our 51st trip, we can safely say it's our most visited campground. It's close to home, the sites are spacious, and it has relatively good play areas for the kids. Best of all, it's connected to a large cafe, which is perfect for escaping the blazing summer heat.
This campground boasts all the advantages a camping enthusiast could want:
- Play areas for children
- Various camping options
- Convenient facilities
- Spacious and comfortable sites
- Excellent accessibility

Campsite Layout
When we visited in May, the site layout was the same as always. However, we've heard there have been site changes requested by the city recently, likely due to some issue.
Existing Layout - From the Website
Updated Layout
The picnic zone that was on the left side of the road has been moved under the trees inside the campground, and the area in front of site D12, which used to be a camping zone, has been changed to a picnic zone. The trampoline has also been moved further inside.
Personally, I think the best camping spots are D9 (spacious site, shaded in the afternoon) and D12 (spacious site, open view).
For the picnic zone, E4 is great - right next to the trampoline and close to the amenities.
D12
Our site this time was D12. It was a spot without any tree shade. It was hard to bear the afternoon sun... But that's okay! We have the Have Fun Cafe right in front of us. ;)
Have Fun has many lush trees, so if there had been a tree, there would have been shade, but it would have been hard to see such a clear sky on such a sunny day, right?
Also, it's the furthest site to the side, so the site is spacious and not disturbed by the neighboring sites.
View from site D12.

Sites from D9 inwards.

In the picture, sites D1-D4 on the left have shade in the morning and are sunny in the afternoon.
Sites D5-D9 on the right are sunny in the morning and shaded as the sun sets.

Campground Amenities
Photos taken directly & downloaded from the website.
There are two trampolines, divided by age group, which are essential for any campground.

The outdoor swimming pool, which is open in the summer, is not too deep, so even young children can enjoy it.
The air slide for older kids is a bit steep.

There is a goal post on the lawn in front of the management office where you can play ball.

In the grass square, children can gather in groups to play in the sand, play badminton, or play tag.

The restrooms, sinks, and showers are located in the center of the campsite.
Detergent is provided at the sinks, hand soap and paper towels are provided in the restrooms, and shampoo and body wash are provided in the showers.

Clean recycling area.

Have Fun Camping Around does not provide separate garbage bags. The recycling area is not far, so you can throw it away right away, but it's a good idea to bring a large plastic bag.

Since Have Fun Camping Around is accessible by taxi from Worong Station, many people seem to come to the picnic zone with friends. The advantage is that you can all drink together. ?? :>

I want to go back again in September and October, but I heard that the reservations are already full... TT

The reservation window opens 3 months in advance, so let's move diligently!!!
