When planning a trip to Jeju, one of the biggest concerns is always accommodation.
Finding a place that ticks all the boxes – location, price, and basic amenities – isn't easy, right?!
I recently stayed at the Golden Daisy Seogwipo Ocean, a budget-friendly hotel in Jeju.

Located in the heart of Seogwipo, it's within easy walking distance of popular attractions like Olle Market, Lee Jung-seop Street, Jeoguri Park,
Jeongbang Waterfall, and Cheonjiyeon Waterfall.
The central location made it easy to leave the car and explore comfortably.
With all this, it's definitely worthy of being called a budget-friendly hotel in Jeju!
Public transportation is also well-connected. Buses 800, 182, and 181 provide easy access, making it a great option even if you're not renting a car.
Another great thing about this affordable Jeju hotel is its chatbot service, which allows you to easily check room amenities and various usage guides on your phone.

There were many foreigners staying there, which shows how convenient this place is.
Even though we checked in a bit late, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
Since we were planning to visit using a rental car, we checked the parking information in advance through the chatbot.
The tower parking made it easy to move our luggage :)
The tower parking is available until 10:30 PM, and after that, detailed information on free public parking is provided.

The neatly organized items and the room, which maintains a constant temperature without being humid, made me feel safe and relaxed during my stay in Jeju.
It's easy to see why this 4-star accommodation is known for being quiet and affordable :)
The room was so clean, I was able to stay comfortably for one night!
In particular, the carpet was clean, so I could comfortably spread out my luggage and move around.
The subtle lighting also adds to the atmosphere.
Wi-Fi is available without a password, and you know that smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms, right?!
Of course, the TV is essential for accommodation!
There was a large wall-mounted TV, so my sister and I enjoyed watching YouTube while eating takeout for dinner, adding to the fun of our trip.
Eating in the room is allowed, but raw fish, mantis shrimp, and soup dishes are not allowed.
We were able to order and enjoy regular delivery food without any problems.
It was convenient to be able to eat comfortably in the room when the weather was bad or when we were tired :)
The size of the bathroom mirror is great.
It's the perfect size for two girls to get ready!!
The bathroom was as clean as the room, making it very pleasant to wash and shower.
There are 2 towels provided. If you need more, you can call the front desk and they will bring them to you quickly, so don't worry.
Amenities include body wash and all-in-one hair product.
I usually bring my own shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, and toothpaste, but if you don't have them, there is a convenience store nearby.
Wash and cream are provided for more hygienic use than soap.
The hairdryer, which is the most important thing for two girls with long hair, has enough power to dry your hair quickly!
The bedding was cozy, and the hot water and water pressure were both stable, so there were no problems showering.
I had been walking so much that my feet were tingling, but as soon as I lay down on the bed, I felt the fatigue disappear.
There are two 500ml bottles of water in the mini-fridge.
There are so many delicious things at the nearby Olle Market, so you can conveniently store them in the refrigerator if you stay for several nights.
I always hang up the clothes I'm going to wear the next day before going to bed.
There were plenty of hangers, so I could hang my clothes up so that they wouldn't wrinkle.
One of the biggest charms of this affordable Jeju hotel is the view of the mountains and the sea.
When you open the curtains, you can see the blue Jeju sea and the scenery of Seogwipo City.
There are ocean view and city view room types.
We were assigned a city view, but there are also ocean views, so please check when booking and choose according to your preference :)

It's the perfect place to relieve your tired body from traveling!
Also, the highlight of this space is definitely the rooftop on the 13th floor.
You can overlook the sea and the city at a glance, and you can enjoy the night view, sunrise, and sunset.
If I had known in advance, I would have been able to bring in outside food and prepared snacks to my liking and watched the sunset with a glass of beer.
There seem to be many business travelers visiting Seogwipo because many academic conferences are held there.
There is a meeting room on the 2nd floor that can accommodate up to 25 people and a conference room on the 2nd basement floor that can accommodate up to 80 people.
You can also use it for meetings or small events with advance reservations.

There is currently a special breakfast event to celebrate the 8th anniversary of the hotel, so please refer to it.
I went around 8:30 a.m., and there were quite a few guests!
As the name suggests, breakfast is prepared with foods that you can eat without being too heavy.
Korean food such as bulgogi is also available.
It's perfect for a meal with rice.
There is also porridge, so the elderly can eat it simply.
So they can eat it without feeling uncomfortable!
We had a hearty meal before embarking on our full-fledged trip.
It's been a long time since I had breakfast, but there is a difference between eating and not eating!
