Hello, I'm Rosy! ✨

Today, I'm excited to share about Gwangalli in Busan, one of my favorite domestic travel destinations! :)

I'll also introduce you to budget-friendly accommodations with a peek-a-boo view of Gwangalli Beach and the Gwangandaegyo Bridge, so I hope you look forward to this post!

Gwangalli, Busan's most romantic beach, is one of the most iconic beaches in Busan and a beautiful place to visit both day and night!

That's why it's one of my absolute favorite travel spots.

With its expansive ocean view, the stunning night view of the Gwangandaegyo Bridge, and the cafes and restaurants lining the beach, there's nothing to skip here.

In this post, I'll introduce you to the best ways to enjoy Gwangalli, from recommended itineraries to the hottest spots.

Gwangalli Beach

If you arrive early in the morning, I recommend taking a stroll along the beach.

Walking along the calm sea is simply wonderful! :)

With fewer people around, you can enjoy the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere while listening to the sound of the waves, which will naturally put your mind at ease.

It would also be lovely to spread out a picnic mat and enjoy a simple brunch!

The weather is supposed to be even better during the Chuseok holiday. :)

I visited last week, and the mornings and evenings were nice and cool!

Millak Waterfront Park & Millak The Market

Located at the end of Gwangalli, Millak Waterfront Park is a popular walking course for locals.

I even went for a run here in the evening, and I saw many other runners and people relaxing.

Precious Memories

I enjoyed getting a glimpse into the real lives of Busan residents!

A short walk along the beach will take you to Millak The Market!

This place is a total hotspot!

Intriguing Image

It's fun to browse the shops, and it's a place where delicious food and entertainment coexist!

It's definitely worth visiting at least once. :)

Gwangalli Beach Street

The unique charm of Gwangalli lies in its trendy cafes, bars, and restaurants lining the beach!

Wonderful Photo

Sitting by the window with an open ocean view, enjoying a cup of coffee or a drink with delicious food, is truly blissful. :)

There are many rooftop cafes these days, perfect for enjoying the ocean during the day and the sparkling night view at night.

Gwangandaegyo Bridge View Photo Zone

The number one reason I visit Gwangalli is definitely the night view of the Gwangandaegyo Bridge.

Spectacular Scene

The moment when the lights start to turn on just before sunset is the most beautiful.

If you love taking photos, Millak Waterfront Park is a great spot, and if you're with your loved one, I recommend the benches along the beach. :)

Dreamlike Moment

There are well-equipped parasols and chairs, and photo zones are set up with the Gwangandaegyo Bridge as a backdrop, making it perfect for taking pictures!

Gwangalli Food Tour

Gwangalli is surprisingly full of hidden gems.

Bright Future

As a self-proclaimed meat lover, I went for grilled 곱창 (Korean BBQ small intestine) again this time! :)

Everyone knows Gwangalli's steady seller, Gwangalli Makchang (Korean BBQ pork intestine) restaurant, right?

In addition, within a 5-minute walk from the beach, there are snacks, raw fish centers, izakayas, and pasta restaurants, so you can find something to suit your taste.

Warm Memories

Some places have long waits on weekend evenings, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. :)

Busking Performances

After sunset, busking performances often take place along Gwangalli Beach.

When I went, there was busking every evening!

In addition to singing, there were also dance battles, which were very entertaining to watch. :)

Amazing Spectacle

These are the moments when you can feel the romance unique to Busan.

Budget-Friendly Accommodation Near Gwangalli

If you want to enjoy the sea until late at night, you'll need accommodation near Gwangalli Beach, right?

Touching Scene

There are various accommodations along Gwangalli Beach, and these days, there are many budget-friendly options.

If you value the view, accommodations with a proper ocean view are great!

But if you don't care too much about the view, like me, and are satisfied with just a peek of the sea, I recommend a budget-friendly option.

The location is right in front of Gwangalli Beach!

Today, I've summarized my trip to Gwangalli, Busan, and recommended budget-friendly accommodation.

Mysterious Appearance

Busan, Gwangalli, is my favorite domestic travel destination!

I'm a little worried about revealing the budget-friendly accommodation I stay in every time! (I don't want it to become too popular...)

Just kidding!

Charming Photo

It's right in front of the sea, so it's great for enjoying the beach, and it's also good for taking walks and runs to Millak Park, and the price is reasonable. :)

Warm Memories

Amazing Spectacle

Have a long and enjoyable Chuseok holiday!

I hope you have a pleasant trip to Busan, a highlight of domestic travel, and I'll finish this post here!
