Hello!

This is Jjuhee :D

Recently, I went on another staycation trip due to my child's MRI exam.

Although the exam was at Samsung Seoul Hospital, I wanted to meet up with a friend who lives in Gwangmyeong, so I booked a hotel in the Gwangmyeong area.

I searched through Agoda and made a reservation in advance.

The hotel is located at 22, Singiro, Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do, 656m from Gwangmyeong Station Exit 1.

Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM.

Take Hotel Seoul Gwangmyeong is connected to AK Plaza, so the parking lot is very spacious.

If you look for zone 'H0' in the parking lot, you'll find parking spaces closest to the hotel entrance.

The front desk is on the 5th floor, and as check-in time approached, I received a smart key via text message.

So, we decided to use the smart key.

Accessing the link received in the text message, I could check-in, register my car, control the elevator, and even open the room door! LOL

It was my first time using a smart key, so I was a bit bewildered.

Even the elevator! After boarding, I had to press the elevator control button on my phone to activate it and then press the desired floor button.

Our room was on the 15th floor, so we went up to the 15th floor.

After figuring it out somewhat clumsily, I noticed detailed instructions on the elevator, LOL.

The hotel has a simple and neat black and gray theme.

You need to press the MASTER button upon entering to turn on the power.

And the best part is that the floor isn't carpeted! I liked that it was a wooden floor, which seemed more hygienic than carpet.

The bathroom also had a nice black color scheme and was well-cleaned, giving it a clean and pleasant feel.

There were plenty of towels available.

The view was good. Although it was an apartment view, it was a high-rise apartment and close to IKEA, Gwangmyeong Station, AK Plaza, and Lotte Mall – it felt like everything was there!

After resting for a while, I met up with my friend for dinner. There were many places to eat, shop, and the scenery around the hotel was lovely.

Plus, the streets felt clean, giving it a feel of a neighborhood I'd want to live in?! LOL

My child loved the beanbag, and the bed guard that I requested when booking through Agoda was also installed, so we had a fun and comfortable night.

After a happy one-night stay, we had my child's Samsung Seoul Hospital MRI exam at 3 PM the next day, so we relaxed and checked out.

I paid an extra 20,000 won for a one-hour extension and checked out at 12 PM.

While checking out, I went to the 5th-floor front desk and found many things to see.

I would have regretted not going!

It was decorated with a charming ambiance that children would love, and there's also a brunch cafe called Dazzle Five. There were also plenty of places to sit and relax.

Take Hotel Seoul Gwangmyeong! We made another happy memory here, and my child bravely underwent the MRI exam at Samsung Seoul Hospital :)

If you're using Gwangmyeong Station or looking for accommodation in or near Gwangmyeong, I recommend Take Hotel.
