A Hanok Stay Near Gyeongju World: A Relaxing Getaway
Our trip to Gyeongju was primarily for Gyeongju World, but since we were in Gyeongju, we thought, "We should definitely try a Hanok stay this time!" So, we searched for a place near Gyeongju World and made a reservation.
Luckily, we were able to get a discount coupon through the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's accommodation sale event. The Hanok we booked was only available through Yanolja, and the coupon worked there! We got a 30,000 KRW discount. (Up to 50,000 KRW discount for special disaster areas).
We received four basic towels, and they kindly gave us two extra, which was more than enough.
At first, we thought there was no air conditioning, but it was installed on the ceiling. The room was very clean, with no bad smells, and it was nice and cool.
We paid an additional 10,000 KRW on-site for one extra child, and they provided extra bedding.
The bedding had a plush topper, so it wasn't hard at all, and I didn't feel stiff after sleeping.
Interestingly, the closet was inside the bathroom, but it wasn't humid, so it was fine!

While taking pictures of the Hanok's night view, I suddenly looked at our room and felt a sense of coziness, so I lined up my shoes and took a barefoot photo.
Cheonggong Hanok is beautiful during the day, but it shines even more in the evening, offering a healing experience just by looking at it.
The owner was very friendly and didn't interfere unnecessarily, so we were able to relax and enjoy our stay.
It perfectly satisfied my desire to escape the city and heal in the countryside.
