A Fun Family Getaway: Hanwha Resort Gyeongju's Pororo Kids Room

Hello, this is Kuberdak!
We recently visited the Pororo Kids Room at Hanwha Resort Gyeongju!

Pororo Kids Room
Room 101, 1st Floor, Damton Building
We had visited Hanwha Resort Gyeongju before, but it seemed like they had renovated the interior. It was cozy and lovely.
My son was fascinated by the robot that guided us. Haha!
We were assigned to Room 101 on the 1st floor of the Damton building!
It seems like check-in is automatic these days. Every time we go to Hanwha Resort, it's always self check-in and check-out.
It's convenient, but I also feel like it's a bit impersonal. Hehe.
As a mom, I sometimes worry that it might be hard to travel as I get older.
The kids were so excited and running ahead!
There were Pororo and his friends along the way to Room 101 in the Damton building, and the kids loved it.
Actually, it's because my son is just past two years old, so Pororo is basically the president in his world right now.
There's no way he wouldn't love it, right? Hehe.

The table was immediately taken over as soon as we arrived!
The best thing about resorts, unlike hotels, is that they have large tables and even baby chairs.
Hotels (of course, I'm not talking about suites) usually have desks instead of tables, so you have to eat out and then come back. But since we have kids, resorts are definitely more convenient. Haha.
We laughed at the welcome snacks.
It really felt like a room designed for kids! They also gave us drinks, which my eldest claimed immediately. Hehe.
Is it just my imagination, or does my older child seem even more excited? Haha.
My child was already turning on the TV, carefully inspecting the room that his dad picked. Haha.
There were stairs right behind the table, which created a great environment for eating while playing with the kids.
It was a safe environment where the kids could run around and we could relax even if we couldn't always be at the table with them.
Even though we don't usually cook at resorts, the Pororo room at Hanwha Resort Gyeongju had an induction cooktop and all the necessary tableware, so it would be great for making simple meals.
They had everything from spoons and forks to plates.
Also, the room we stayed in had large windows, so it seemed like the smell would escape easily if you cooked with the windows open.
But we just bought food to go.
My husband and eldest child bought our dinner from a famous tteokbokki and sundae place in Gyeongju!

They gave us so much sundae that my husband still wants to eat it again now.
He was amazed and happy that they gave us a lot of sundae but also the assorted organ meats, which you don't see often these days.
It's a snack shop we would definitely visit again if we go to Gyeongju.
The reason we decided to stay one night in Gyeongju, when we were only planning to stay in Busan, was because of the Pororo Kids Room.
It was so comfortable and safe for the kids to play in, so we could relax and enjoy ourselves too.

It feels like Dad is even more excited.
Actually, Dad wanted to take our eldest child to the Pororo Kids Room too.
But it was difficult to book on the dates we wanted, so we missed the opportunity.
So this time, he was determined to go! So we booked the Gyeongju Pororo Kids Room for our youngest child, who is 10 years younger than the others.

Besides the room we booked, all the Pororo rooms were located on the 1st floor.
You can see Soyo Garden from the window, and Pororo Village is also a short walk away, so the location was great.

All the dangerous areas, including the stairs, had safety features installed.
I'm always worried about my kids getting hurt by the facilities when we travel.
But at the Pororo Kids Room in Gyeongju, we were able to eat and relax comfortably.

Patty peeking out!
The kids were playing with their sister, running and jumping around, but because we were on the first floor, we didn't have to worry about noise complaints, which was great.

Pororo Music Room!
My son was playing music from his phone under the colorful lights and dancing endlessly.
The room had no furniture at all, so the echoes made it feel like a stage, which was fun. Hehe.

The bathroom next to the entrance!
There's a bathtub with Pororo and Crong, right?
I was also happy to see the IKEA crocodile mat.

Master bedroom, including a queen-size bed and bathroom
This is the master bedroom with a bed.
My child's favorite Pororo was on the bed and on the sink.

This would be helpful for babies who have a hard time sleeping in unfamiliar places. Hehe.

There was a tablet next to the bed where you could check out, and there was also space to put your luggage.

As a mom, I was so grateful that the small furniture had corner protectors.
Small considerations are touching.

The sink was outside of the shower room, which was nice because it allowed us to use the space more freely.

The bathroom slippers in the master bedroom were Patty slippers. Hehe.

After unpacking and having a quick dinner, we went outside.

The swimming pool was not open when we went in May because it was still chilly.

It's a shame, but we promised to use it next time.

We took a picture at the Pororo Aqua Village stamp photo zone because we were sad that it was closed!

It quickly became night.

My son was so amazed because it was the first time he had seen such a large Pororo.

Our family always ends up spending too much money at the arcade, and it turns out there was one at Hanwha Resort Gyeongju too. Sigh.

We ate ice cream on the way back to our room after having a great time.

My excited daughter's back view!

The next day! Before checking out.

The kids played until the last minute because they were sad about checking out.

Oh! We took a picture with Poby by the front door because we didn't take one when we checked in.

It was great to create fun and happy memories with my children at the Pororo Room at Hanwha Resort Gyeongju.

These days, they are becoming more interested in Tayo and other friends.

I highly recommend it if you have a child around 2-3 years old!
Visiting Geumgwanchong Tomb after checking out from Hanwha Resort Gyeongju

If you go to Gyeongju, I recommend visiting the Silla historical sites.

October has a long Chuseok holiday of over 10 days.

If you are going to Gyeongju, I recommend the Hanwha Resort Pororo Room!
