August 30, 2024

At the end of August, after our summer vacation, we decided to take a domestic trip to Gyeongju.

Naturally, the first thing I searched for was a family-friendly travel destination. I was immediately drawn to Pororo Water Park, which led us to book a stay at Hanwha Resort Gyeongju Eton.

I'd like to introduce you to Hanwha Resort Gyeongju Eton, where our whole family enjoyed a comfortable stay!

Precious memory

Check-in

Check-in, as usual for most resorts, is done at the front desk by confirming your name and reservation number.

Thanks to the efficient staff at the front desk, we were able to check in quickly and received a complimentary bubble bath bomb coupon attached to our check-in card.

Deluxe Room

We stayed in a deluxe room that felt like home, with two comfortable and spacious rooms and a living room.

Traveling to Gyeongju with our 4-year-old child, my husband, and myself, the room was spacious enough to comfortably have dinner with our family.

The room size was larger than expected! One small room, one bedroom, and one living room—it was definitely a large room for three people.

We got a special discount and stayed for around 300,000 won!

The wood-tone interior created a natural atmosphere, and of course, it was very pleasant.

The view from the window was beautiful and relaxing.

Amazing sight

The red sofa felt like it could be replaced, but it was comfortable, sturdy, and great for lounging without sinking in.

We were able to order delivery food, so we ordered jokbal (pigs' feet) and bossam (boiled pork). We could pick it up at the first-floor lobby without any issues and enjoy it comfortably in our room!

Room & Bathroom Interior

The toilet and shower room were separated, which gave it a cleaner and more hygienic feel.

I personally prefer places where the toilet and shower are separated. Shampoo and body wash are provided, but I recommend bringing other toiletries, especially toothpaste, toothbrush, and facial cleanser.

Outdoor Garden: Soyowoen

Hearing there was an outdoor garden, we went for a walk and found a barbecue restaurant there.

It was called Baekseon Garden, and we could have ordered dinner, but it was our first visit, so we didn't know.

We took a walk here, discovered the restaurant, and started the day with fresh air and a clear mind before checking out!

Special moment

It was a good place to take pictures and swing on the swings, and I was curious about the evening atmosphere. Next time, I want to eat barbecue at Baekseon Garden and experience the evening atmosphere.

Hotel Review

When I use hotels or resorts, breakfast is an important part, but at 30,000 won per person, it was a burden, so we didn't use it this time. So it was a disappointing accommodation, but the biggest advantage is that it is the best place to stay when traveling with children!

The kindness of the staff and the fact that we could play at Pororo Aqua Village and relax immediately were the best things. The convenience store was open 24 hours, so there was no worry about eating, and above all, the pleasant bedrooms and room hygiene were very satisfactory.

If I come again, I would like to experience the atmosphere of the Hanwha Resort garden and barbecue restaurant in the evening.
