A Family Getaway to Uljin: Camping Glamour and Resort Comfort at Olden Resort
This trip was a family adventure to Uljin in search of unique accommodation.
We chose Olden Resort! The name itself raised expectations, and upon arrival, we found a place that perfectly blended the camping vibe with the comfort of a resort.
We stayed in Caravan #4, which wasn't just a place to sleep but a destination offering various activities and options. We were truly satisfied with our choice of accommodation in Uljin.
Especially impressive was its scale and facilities, making it a place we definitely want to revisit. It stands out among the caravan options in Gyeongbuk Province.

Olden Resort is located near the beach, close to downtown Uljin. It's relatively accessible from Pohang and Busan, making it a great choice for weekend getaways or family vacations. You can easily find it on Naver Maps.
The surrounding area is peaceful with beautiful natural scenery, perfect for taking walks with your dog.

Caravan with a Direct Ocean View
We stayed in Caravan #4, centrally located.
Each caravan is neatly equipped with individual facilities like a barbecue and jacuzzi, ensuring privacy.
The ocean view from beside the bed was exactly what our son was dreaming of when he asked for a caravan trip.
The amenities were well-prepared, with one towel provided per person.
Honestly, we were worried about smells or mold in the caravan, but it was genuinely clean and pleasant. There was a table and kitchen facilities in the center, making it easy to prepare simple meals.
With a double bed and a bunk bed, it seemed spacious enough for four people.
The bathroom and toilet were also very clean. The staff were kind and attentive, which made our stay even more comfortable.
Facilities
Olden Resort operates year-round and offers various facilities in addition to caravan accommodation. Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM. Guests can add the following options:
Infinity Pool
Located on the resort rooftop, you can enjoy swimming for a fee of 10,000 KRW per person.

Its large size and view resembling it touching the ocean make it great for taking pictures.
Especially the length make it fun for swim races and enjoying the fullest.
The outdoor warm water is truly amazing.
Even my son, who finds the summer sea cold, enjoyed playing until late evening on a chilly day.
Private Jacuzzi
Operating Hours: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
The jacuzzi located in front of the caravan can be used for an additional fee of 50,000 KRW, but it was available at a 50% discount price of 25,000 KRW when we visited.
The jacuzzi here is filled with seawater hot springs, which are different from general hot water.
Notably, it uses high-purity seawater hot springs with more than twice the beneficial components of a designated health spa.
Soaking in the warm water makes your skin feel smooth and relieves fatigue. I highly recommend it.
It rained on the day we visited, but it was full of emotions to soak in the hot water while getting drizzled with rain,
But on a clear day, you can enjoy the stars.
Barbecue Terrace
You can enjoy a barbecue freely with your family or friends on the individual terrace next to the caravan.
The store also sells meat, so you don't have to worry even if you don't have enough preparations.

We only used the barbecue because it was raining.
Of course, grilled pork belly over charcoal is the best.
We also brought autumn chestnuts and grilled them over charcoal, so we could enjoy roasted chestnuts.
