A quick 2-night, 3-day trip to Seoul!

This trip included the Grand Hyatt Seoul, Seoryeong Restaurant, Namdaemun Flower Market, Wangsol Pharmacy, Namdo Sports, Johnny Dumpling, Taco Stand, and Namyeongdon.

1. Seoryeong

Seoryeong was our first stop upon arriving in Seoul.

We used Catch Table to get in the virtual queue while on the train. It's a popular Pyeongyang cold noodle (naengmyeon) restaurant near Seoul Station, making it easy to fit into our itinerary.

We had high expectations since it's one of the most talked-about places these days. The broth had a very strong meaty flavor, and the pork belly slices were firm. Seoryeong was just okay for us.

2. Namdaemun Flower Market

Since Seoryeong is located near Namdaemun Market, we walked over.

Important: They close early, so please check the opening hours!

We were heading to Da Nang right after our Seoul trip, so we bought some flowers to brighten up our hotel room.

We bought mini gerberas and a purple flower I don't know the name of, and we were very happy with our purchases!

3. Wangsol Pharmacy

Wangsol Pharmacy is a famous pharmacy in Namdaemun.

I expected it to be huge, but it was smaller than I thought.

But there were so many pharmacists in that small space! Anyway, we bought everything on our list.

4. Namdo Sports

Next, we visited Namdo Sports, a haven for swimmers.

My husband has been learning to swim, so we went to buy short fins.

Elite Max Black. We got them for 90,000 won using Onnuri gift certificates.

5. Pajama Shopping

We also bought pajamas that caught our eye while passing by.

The set was only 10,000 won, super cool, pretty, and we loved it.

6. Namdaemun Children's Clothes Shopping / POKI Children's Wear

I visited the Namdaemun children's clothing market after seeing on YouTube that celebrities frequent it.

We stopped by for fun and found a cute clothing store, so we bought several outfits for our friends' children.

We didn't see all the shops, just a few, and there weren't as many pretty items as I expected. There were many comfortable styles, though.

But if you find a good store, you can have a successful shopping experience.

7. Starting our Staycation at the Grand Hyatt Seoul

This Seoul trip was during a hot time of year, so we decided to enjoy a 2-night, 3-day staycation.

The Grand Hyatt Seoul's signature Namsan view!

So, so beautiful.

The interior effectively uses mirrors, creating the impression of a larger space.

The flowers we bought at Namdaemun.

Peaceful scenery

Swimming pool on the first day.

We went to the swimming pool on both the first and second days. On the first day, we relaxed on a sunbed right in front of the pool.

We went around 5 PM, and it was very crowded.

The lobby is always so pretty. Mysterious, luxurious, and elegant.

8. Johnny Dumpling

We had a late lunch, so we decided to have a light dinner in Itaewon.

I recommend the fried dumplings at Johnny Dumpling!

9. Dalmaek Super

Dalmaek Super allows you to bring outside food and has a fun atmosphere.

We just wanted to buy beer, so we took some photos and moved on to our next destination.

10. Taco Stand

We revisited Taco Stand because my husband enjoyed it so much last time.

Amazing sight

It's tasty, but I probably won't go for a while. We had a fun evening visiting three different spots!

The lobby atmosphere in the evening was amazing.

Breakfast - Day 1

Mysterious appearance

I discovered the smoked salmon of my life!

Swimming Pool - Day 2

This summer, they collaborated with Maison Margiela fragrances, and the orange color perfectly complemented the blue summer vibe.

Nice photo

We went around 11 AM, and the Grand Hyatt Seoul outdoor pool was quiet and nice.

On the second day, we grabbed a sunbed on the grassy area in the shade, which was paradise. The atmosphere was insane.

Fantastic scene

Water trickled under the sunbeds, giving it a valley-like feel.

I was so happy!

When we returned from swimming, the room was clean and tidy, and the weather was even better than yesterday!

Ordered ice cream from Yogurt Purple and enjoyed a beer from Dalmaek Super. Ah, it's so good.

11. Namyeongdon

If I went to Seoul this time, I wanted to go to either Mongtan or Namyeongdon, even if it meant waiting in line. Namyeongdon had a shorter wait, so we chose it!

(We went on a weekday evening around 5:40-5:50 PM and waited for 1 hour and 10 minutes.)

The charcoal scent was excellent, but everything else was disappointing.

Charming photo

The pink sky we saw on the way back to the hotel was lovely.

Breakfast - Day 2

Touching scene

The weather had been nice until now, but it rained on the day we left.

I'm grateful that the weather was so good for both our Seoul and Da Nang trips!

Nice photo

The breakfast menu changes slightly each day for guests staying multiple nights, but it gets a little boring after two days... hehe.

Touching scene

Ate moderately and finished!

Heading home!

A clean and simple 2-night, 3-day summer trip to Seoul.

Amazing sight

I always love Seoul! I'll be back!
