It's been a while since my last trip to Yangyang. (Actually, I toured Goseong, Sokcho, and Yangyang just two weeks ago! haha)

This time, I went to Namae Beach in Namae-ri, Yangyang with close friends. We managed to book a 2-night stay at Turtle Guesthouse (or is it a minbak?), and it became a group trip of six guys since our army days.

It was also a chance to enjoy some long-awaited fun in the ocean!

We departed around 9 PM on Saturday and arrived around 12 AM. So, this is Turtle Surf Bar... This is where we'll be having brunch tomorrow, so let's skip it for now!

Even though it's dark, the East Sea is always great. I liked that it was quiet and peaceful, unlike other beaches. We need to check in first, so let's unpack!

The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was big with plenty of hot water even in the middle of summer, which was great.

It's been a while since I visited Ingu Beach, and it was crowded, but less than I expected. Which is good for me since I don't really like crowds. hehehehe

The food might be a bit overpriced and not the best, but we're here after a long time, so let's have a drink!

Then, we came back to the guesthouse and kept drinking and chatting until 4-5 AM... We saw the sunrise...

But it was nice to see the sunrise after a long time. It felt refreshing... hehe (Or maybe it was just the alcohol wearing off?) Sookhee, who listened to us chat and watched us play all night, was exhausted and passed out.

Around lunchtime, everyone woke up, showered, and turned into humans before heading to Turtle Surf Bar right next to the guesthouse!

If you search on Naver Maps, there are quite a few different menu items, but it seems like it's been reduced a bit now... But they say all the dishes are delicious.

I think we ordered everything on the menu except for the chicken rose tteokbokki... hehe

And for drinks, we ordered the 'Tteok-jeolmi' Milkshake.

Unlike the West Sea, the beach is directly visible from the restaurant, not separated by a parking lot, which was even better. Still, the terrace was packed with people. Seems like Namae Beach is a hotspot, haha.

As everyone slowly woke up and gathered after showering, the dishes started coming out. Salad Pasta, Truffle Fries, and Hot Wings and Fries. (But I couldn't eat the salad pasta because I'm allergic to cucumbers... ㅠㅜ)

Then came the Seafood Rose Tteokbokki! This is also a signature dish here, so be sure to try it...

And Coconut Shrimp... I can't pass this up... It's the perfect snack with beer....

I thought the fries were too much and we wouldn't be able to eat them all, but everyone ate them all... We ate until we were stuffed, hahaha.

Now that we've filled our stomachs, shall we go out and play? haha

It was a shame we didn't have a tarp, but we had all the other equipment, so we went straight to the beach, set up our spot, and played in the water!

Since I can't swim, I used an umbrella and had a glass of Shochu Highball hehe.

Watching my younger friends have fun in the water...

If you're tired of crowded Yangyang, I recommend visiting the quiet Namae Beach!
