A Rainy Temple Stay at Woljeongsa

It's probably been almost a year since my last temple stay.
I wanted to go to the meditation village, Ombüe, but it was too expensive.
The cost of staying there alone was a burden, so I thought Woljeongsa Temple would be a good alternative.
The thought of strolling along the fir tree forest path to the meditation village appealed to me.
So, I decided on Woljeongsa and booked a two-night stay.
It rained on the second day.
It continued to rain on the third day until just before checkout.
I walked around the courtyard in front of the accommodation and along the path between the fir trees.
On the first night, I could see the bright moon and stars.
With nothing to do, it's nice to sit at a cafe near the entrance and just enjoy the view of the valley.
On the second day, with nothing to do and the rain coming down, I didn't have much motivation to wander around energetically.
So, I took a bus to Sangwonsa Temple.
It's a smaller and quieter temple than Woljeongsa.
Again, I ended up at a cafe. lol
I sat there, staring blankly with a cup of jujube tea in front of me.
Then, I headed back to Woljeongsa to catch the bus.
As I was leaving after eating at the Gongyang Hall (temple dining hall), it started pouring!
Because I couldn't book a train ticket back from Jinbu, I'm heading to Mukho in the opposite direction from Jinbu.
This is the Jinbu Station Cultural Space.
It's a very nice space.
I picked up a book by Bernard Werber.
I flipped through it, wondering if there was anything interesting.
Nothing really.
It's been a while since I lost interest in the written word.
I'm tired of carrying other people's ideas in my head.
I've arrived in Mukho.
I have about two hours to spare, but going to the sea feels too much.
The number of luggage storage lockers is limited, and they're already full.
It's tiring to walk around with a backpack on such a humid day.
It's cloudier and more humid here than in Pyeongchang.
Near Mukho Station, there's a cafe called Coffee Yes.
They serve hand-drip coffee and freshly baked walnut pastries.
It has an atmosphere that relaxes the mind.
I was going to go to Nongoldam-gil Alley.
But I ended up sitting down at the cafe.
Riding the train back from Mukho.
