On September 14, the final citizen participation evaluation for the Seoul Moonlight Night Market project was held at Seoul City Hall.
Five experts and 50 citizens evaluated the proposals and answered questions from the candidate districts.
They assessed the appropriateness of the project plans, willingness to implement, and management of complaints and conflicts, while also evaluating the attractiveness and potential as a nighttime destination.
The evaluation process was live-streamed on the Seoul City YouTube channel!
From the 10 candidates, 6 were selected to become the final Moonlight Night Markets!
The selected night markets will receive up to 2 billion won each to establish themselves as representative nighttime attractions in Seoul.
