Namhae: Where Culture and Education Meet to Shape the Future

Culture and education in Namhae have come together to pave a new path. On August 13th, the Namhae Tourism & Culture Foundation and the Namhae Office of Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote cultural and artistic education. This agreement marks an important beginning in spreading the value of local culture and art, and sharing Namhae's unique beauty with the next generation.
As a first step, the two organizations are jointly operating the 'Gaga Hoho' (Every Home) education program. This program, which connects homes, schools, and the community, naturally integrates Namhae's life and culture into the daily lives of children. Children directly participate, learn, and experience local culture and art, making it a valuable educational experience and a time to understand the region.
Namhae Travel Diary: Discovering Namhae's Charm Through Walking
On September 24th, the 4th session of the 'Namhae Travel Diary' took place. The setting for this journey was Course 1 of the Seombaraegil Trail, the Jodo Baraegil. Walking along the path where the sea and islands blend, participants rediscovered Namhae's unique charm. Sharing the joy of walking and relaxation, it became a special time of education and healing, not just a simple stroll.
Education and Culture Together Opening Namhae's Future
The Namhae Tourism & Culture Foundation plans to continue creating various opportunities where education and culture meet. By widely promoting Namhae's unique beauty and cultural value, we will create a foundation for local residents and children to grow together. When culture and education work together in the region, Namhae's future will shine even brighter.
