Exploring Gwanaksan Mountain and Sillim Sundae Town

March, when the body that has been curled up all winter begins to loosen up.
Here, I will introduce a light hiking course on Gwanaksan Mountain near Seoul and recommend Sillim Sundae Town, a great place to visit after descending the mountain.
1. Gwanaksan Mountain
Located in Gwanak-gu and Geumcheon-gu of Seoul, as well as Anyang and Gwacheon in Gyeonggi-do, Gwanaksan is a representative rocky mountain.
Recently, a fortune teller mentioned on a popular program that Gwanaksan is a mountain with good energy, which has attracted even more visitors!
There are various hiking courses depending on the starting point, with the most popular route starting from Seoul National University Station and leading to the summit, Yeonjudae.
The round trip takes about 3 to 4 hours. Although there are steep sections, it is a course that beginners can challenge.
At the summit, Yeonjudae, you can see the Eungjinjeon temple perched on a cliff, the weather radar dome shaped like a soccer ball, and the 629-meter summit marker all at once.
When you reach the top and gaze at the open view, it feels like all the accumulated fatigue in your body and mind washes away.
