Dream Park Chrysanthemum Festival: An Eco-Friendly Cultural Experience for All

A Green Cultural Space with Citizens, Open from October 23rd to November 5th
In October, as autumn reaches its peak, the Dream Park Wildflower Garden in Incheon's Seo-gu will be filled with the fragrance of chrysanthemums. The Sudokwon Landfill Site Management Corporation (SLC), headed by President Song Byeong-eok, has announced the '2025 Dream Park Chrysanthemum Festival' will be held for 14 days from October 23rd to November 5th.
Since 2004, the Dream Park Chrysanthemum Festival has grown beyond a simple exhibition into an eco-friendly cultural festival enjoyed by residents. This year, with the theme of 'An Autumn Outing to the Wildflower Garden with the Community,' the program and exhibition scale have been greatly expanded.
Various exhibitions will be on display, including a large chrysanthemum garden, mini-gardens, topiary, photo zones, and chrysanthemum bonsai. 'Dream Park Audition,' where citizens can directly participate, along with invited singers, family performances, and environmental experience programs, will also be held.
In particular, efforts will be focused on spreading social values by operating social enterprise booths in cooperation with the Incheon Social Economy Support Center and installing Culture Nuri Card merchants. The food market and food trucks will be directly operated by local residents, and eco-friendly practices will be strengthened through the use of reusable containers.
The Sudokwon Landfill Site Management Corporation plans to showcase a transformation from its existing image as a waste disposal facility to a complex cultural space where environment and culture coexist through this festival.
President Song Byeong-eok said, "The Dream Park Chrysanthemum Festival is a festival where citizens can feel rest and relaxation in nature while reflecting on the importance of the environment. We are preparing it as a participatory event that everyone can enjoy."
