Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Commemorative Stamps

South Korea's leading film festival, the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and commemorative stamps will be issued to mark the occasion.
The Busan International Film Festival, launched in 1996, has grown into Asia's largest international film festival.
Each year, films from over 70 countries are screened, and the festival has established itself as a major cultural event, attracting directors and actors from around the world to Busan.
These commemorative stamps have been created to celebrate the 30-year history of the Busan International Film Festival.
The design incorporates film reels and screens, the sea and waves of Busan, and the '30th Busan International Film Festival' logo.
The Korea Post Office stated that the issuance of these commemorative stamps goes beyond mere collectibles. They symbolize the achievements of Korean cinema and its standing in the global film industry.
In particular, it is expected that the stamp issuance will provide an opportunity for the public, who cannot attend the film festival in person, to commemorate the history and significance of BIFF.
