A Relaxing Chuseok Holiday at Home and Discovering a Local Flower Festival

We had a long holiday, including the Chuseok holiday.
Since I work part-time and go to work every day, it's been a while since I've had such a long vacation!
With discretionary holidays overlapping, I rested for almost ten days!!! Haha
Yet, as a mom of a senior in high school,
I didn't go anywhere and stayed home!
It was a little frustrating.
Actually, it kept raining,
so it was hard to plan something fun.
I spent most of my time at the screen golf practice range near my house and visited the Gyeyang Araon Chrysanthemum Festival.
I went in the afternoon, and as expected, there was no parking space!
Giving up, I parked on a farm road I found on the way home
and had a great time!!!
I thought it was just a chrysanthemum festival,
but I could enjoy not only chrysanthemums
but also autumn flowers!
I used to enjoy the Dream Park Chrysanthemum Festival at the old Incheon landfill.
That place was really nice with its variety of chrysanthemums and wide open space.
Here, the flowers are along the walking path,
which gives it a different feel!
I also thought it would be nice to always have flowers here, without setting a specific chrysanthemum festival period.
There are also pretty sculptures made of chrysanthemums and flowers,
so there are quite a few photo zones.
This place will also be a great photo zone!
The yellow fabric was so vivid
and fluttered, making it look even better in person.
It's so amazing!
20 million zinnia flowers!
Zinnia flowers in full bloom in a really wide space!
Suddenly, it started raining,
which was a shame.
It would have been so nice to walk through the flowers and take pictures.
There were also pink muhly grass,
making it great for taking pictures!
It's a great place to take pictures in this dreamy spot!
It's great to take a walk along the river,
and there are so many pretty spaces,
so I ended up walking over 10,000 steps while looking around! LOL
I think October is a month where the festival is right near my house,
so I don't have to go far.
Coming back home,
it's wonderful to see people riding their bikes on the bike path,
and the couple's date was so beautiful!
October is a great time to be happy with nature.
Gyeyang Araon
A great place to park under the Gyeyang Bridge and take a walk.
