A Dreamlike Night: Experiencing the Gwangalli Drone Show in Busan (Tips & Info)
During the Chuseok holiday, my in-laws visited the Gwangalli Drone Show and sent me photos and videos. I couldn't make it in person, but after hearing their review, I really wanted to see it for myself!
They said that the sight of 2,500 drones lighting up the night sky, creating shapes and messages in sync with the music, was truly dreamlike and fantastic.
"I kept wondering what kind of image would appear next!" they said, looking up at the sky, adding that they were amazed by the technological advancements.
It seemed that each image conveyed a story or emotion, making it more than just a spectacle – it was truly moving.

Show Title: Gwangalli M Drone Light Show
Location: Gwangalli Beach area (visible from anywhere on the beach)
Viewing Range: The entire beach is a viewing area, but the views facing the front or the Gwangan Bridge are more impressive.
⏰ Time Information
The drone show runs twice every Saturday, with different times depending on the season.
Summer (March ~ September): 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM
Winter (October ~ February): 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM
Show Length: Approximately 10 ~ 12 minutes
So, for example, if you visit around mid-October, aim for the 7 PM or 9 PM show.

If you're driving, it's a good idea to plan your parking in advance. There are many reviews stating that parking competition is fierce, especially during popular showtimes.

Reviews suggest that Gwangalli Beach Public Parking Lot fees are around 500 won per 10 minutes during peak season and 300 won per 10 minutes during off-season.
Many people have experienced that parking fills up almost completely on weekends, especially 2-3 hours before the show starts, so it's safer to hurry.
I felt the same excitement even after returning home!
