2026 Paju Arts Festival, which opened on July 3.
The Paju Arts Festival runs from July 3 to the end of September,
bringing various cultural and artistic programs such as performances, exhibitions, and busking to the community.
I visited the venue to experience the performances and exhibitions firsthand.
At the Unjeong Happiness Center, performances and exhibitions will be held until July 18,
and a special exhibition is scheduled at the Paju Peace Museum in September.

In the lobby of the Unjeong Happiness Center,
an exhibition featuring members of the Paju branch of the Korean Photographers Association is taking place.
The exhibition showcases a variety of photographs on themes such as landscapes, nature, and portraits.
Each piece reflects the unique perspective and story of the artists, making it enjoyable to appreciate them slowly.
It was impressive to see how the same scenery can be expressed in different ways.
For photography enthusiasts, this exhibition offers a delightful experience.
After exploring the exhibition, I watched the ongoing Romantic Busking in the outdoor space of the Unjeong Happiness Center.
Despite the hot weather, many citizens stopped to enjoy the performances.
Passersby naturally paused to appreciate the show, soaking in the relaxed atmosphere.
Various teams performed with instruments like clarinets and saxophones,
each bringing a unique charm to the stage.
At 6 PM, I moved to the performance hall to catch the main event.
The first stage featured a performance by the Paju branch of the Korean Music Association,
combining pansori and jazz in a seamless fusion.
This unique stage was refreshing, as it is not often encountered.
The performance created an emotional atmosphere with the jazz classic 'Autumn Leaves.'
The pansori segment was particularly impressive, engaging with the audience and drawing them into the performance.
The audience responded with applause and cheers, creating a wonderful atmosphere.
After a short break, the kids' group 'Kkobukidul' took the stage,
covering popular idol songs with adorable energy.
Suddenly, a Girls' Generation song played,
leaving everyone wondering how the kids knew the song.
Parents and families in the audience were all smiles, enjoying this healing performance.
At 7 PM, the Paju branch of the Korean Entertainment Artists Association presented the 'Music Camp of Memories' show.
The host, Lim Su-ji, who is also a performer, added a fun touch to the event.
Starting with Kim Seol's emotional performance,
the host joined in, elevating the atmosphere even further.
Yoo Kyung sang 'Song of the Wind' with her unique emotion,
and Seo Hyang showcased her performances, including 'I Love Paju,'
bringing the energy of a Paju ambassador to the audience.
One of the most memorable performances was Yoo Kyung and Seo Hyang's rendition of So Chan-whee's 'TEARS.'
The powerful high notes and explosive vocal talent filled the venue, earning a huge round of applause.
Finally, the main performer Park Woo-cheol took the stage,
and the atmosphere in the audience became even more electrifying.
Especially among the elderly audience, the warm cheers created a sense of unity in the hall.
The 2026 Paju Arts Festival offers a variety of programs,
from high-quality performances by professional artists to family-friendly shows.
It truly feels like a festival that anyone can enjoy without hesitation.
The performances and exhibitions at the Unjeong Happiness Center will run until July 18,
but a special exhibition is planned at the Paju Peace Museum in September.
