Selected Nicks: A Spacious Cafe Escape Near Gangnam Station (No Waiting!)
It's almost a given that any popular restaurant or cafe in Seoul these days has a waiting line, right?
Weekends are a given, and even on weekdays, waiting in line has become a daily routine.
But I've got good news!
A large cafe called Selected Nicks has opened just a 5-minute walk from Gangnam Station!
Since it's a large cafe, there's plenty of seating on each floor.
The space is so pleasant and spacious, you won't have to worry about waiting in line.
(I went on a weekend afternoon and walked right in without any waiting!)

If you walk from Gangnam Station Exit 1 or 4,
it's right next building after The Venti.
Gangnam Daesung Academy is on the right.
Mennoaji Japanese restaurant is right in front.
Selected Nicks Entrance
This is the entrance to Selected Nicks.
It's located in a place where you might think, "A large cafe in a place like this...?"
And do you see the tiramisu sign at the entrance? This place is famous for its tiramisu!

Outdoor seating like this would be great when the weather gets cooler.
Selected Nicks has a gallery space with art exhibitions and rooftop performances.

If you come straight inside, you will see the entrance.
The cafe occupies B1, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th floors and the rooftop!
It is best to check your seat first,
and then order at the information desk on the 1st floor and go up to the cafe with your food.
Cafe Interior
I'm going to the first floor to order~
The first floor has this vibe.
There is a drink preparation area/counter/exhibition space/about 3-4 tables.
You can order from the kiosk,
and the staff at the information desk were there to help with any order-related inquiries or problems!
Selected Nicks Menu
Selected Nicks is famous for its tiramisu.
You must have the tiramisu if you go!
We were craving something refreshing, so we ordered Raspberry Tiramisu (₩9,800),
Cafe Latte (₩6,500), and Blueberry Rooibos (₩6,000).
While waiting for our food after receiving the buzzer, we looked at the exhibition products (?) on the first floor.
A lottery event is also in progress, so write a photo review and get a lottery ticket.
I'm going up to the cafe with my food.
We didn't check our seats first, we just ordered first,,
So we just went to the closest 2nd floor.
If there are many people, it takes a long time to wait for the elevator,
so I recommend going to the 2nd or 3rd floor via the outside stairs.
There is also a staircase from the 2nd to the 3rd floor, so if you go to the 2nd floor and there are no seats, you can walk to the 3rd floor,,,haha
The 2nd floor is a white-toned open space.
The gallery exhibition and cafe space are together, so the seating arrangement is characterized by seats where you can sit comfortably while appreciating the works.
There are various seats such as 4-person tables and 2-seater seats,
and the seat spacing is wide, so it seems comfortable for both solo and group visits.
In particular, there are 2-seater seats with walls built like the first picture.
I recommend this private seat!!
And there is also a photo booth on the 2nd floor.

Selected Nicks 3rd Floor
The 3rd floor has this vibe.
It is a space mainly for groups of 4 or more people.
There are many large windows, so it is good to go during the day when there is sunlight.
Selected Nicks 8th Floor
Many people on the 8th floor were working on laptops or studying.
(There are outlets on the table)
The space feels narrower compared to other floors.
Selected Nicks Rooftop
This is the rooftop on the top floor.
It is an outdoor space with an open view of the city.
Performances and events are also held here on nice weather days~!
It was a little cooler in the evening, so there were a lot of people.
And there are restrooms on each floor!
Ordered Food
Raspberry Tiramisu (₩9,800), Cafe Latte (₩6,500), Blueberry Rooibos (₩6,000)
Raspberry Tiramisu is highly recommended!!!!!
If regular tiramisu is too sweet or strong, try the Raspberry Tiramisu.
The raspberry and blueberry flavors are more emphasized than regular tiramisu,
The refreshing and soft cream is a good combination!
It's not greasy and melts softly in your mouth;;
Perfect with an Americano or Cafe Latte~
The coffee beans in the Cafe Latte were surprisingly delicious.
A popular coffee bean flavor? It was a savory flavor that wasn't overly heavy.
And the Rooibos tea had a subtle tea flavor that was great to eat with dessert.
After you're done eating, please leave the table to the left of the information desk on the first floor!

Each floor has a different atmosphere, so you can do everything from studying, dating, meetings, and viewing exhibitions.
