Review of Geppan Apgujeong: A Must-Visit for Soju Lovers

Whenever I crave soju in Apgujeong Rodeo, I always go to Geppan Apgujeong!
I’ve been here several times since I first fell in love with their whole pork kimchi stew.
So far, my favorite dishes are the whole pork kimchi stew and the spicy gochujang stew.

Menu:
The menu immediately gives off a vibe of a delicious Korean pub, featuring a variety of stews, soups, bossam, fried dishes, and even desserts like shaved ice and fruit punch. The selection of Korean snacks is genuinely diverse!
They offer a range of drinks, including soju, beer, highballs, cocktails, and premium spirits, catering to all tastes.
We ordered the whole pork gochujang stew (29,000 won) on our visit!
I usually don’t like greasy stews, but this gochujang stew has a clean broth that keeps me coming back for more. It retains the unique spiciness of gochujang while eliminating the greasiness—perfect for pairing with soju!
Adding rice (2,000 won) to the leftover stew turns it into a delicious meal!
We also ordered the whelk noodles and fried dumplings (30,000 won). They were sweet and tangy, and a delightful addition to our meal.
As a surprise, the owner treated us to complimentary ice cream topped with snacks. It was a lovely touch that added to the overall experience!
Final Thoughts:
Geppan Apgujeong has the perfect combination of atmosphere, delicious food, and great service. I highly recommend it for those who enjoy a bar vibe, want to sip soju with hearty stews, or are looking for a group dining spot!
