Reflections on Dreams and Life's Challenges

It was one of those wild early mornings when I fell asleep after enjoying a concert in my room.
January 21st is known as the Feast of St. Agnes, originally recognized as the day when spouses meet.
However, for me, January 21st is not about dreaming of my future spouse's face.
It’s a day when many people appear in my dreams.
This year was no exception, as I dreamt of many people again.
In my dream, a guardian took me to an adult kids' cafe to play.
I can't remember everything clearly, but an older sister I used to play with appeared, working in the entertainment industry.
Her style reminded me of when I was in elementary school, a time when shaggy cuts and chocolate hairstyles were the trend.
As we styled each other, I found myself in a competitive dream with the girl from the neighboring shop.
In the dream, I exclaimed, "Wow, what’s that styling?! You look just like Seo In-young from 2008!"
When I asked her what happened, she replied, "Well, I felt like my work was lacking, so I decided to change up my style a bit, haha!"
Recently, I’ve also had dreams involving mythical creatures and themes from Harry Potter.
In one of my dreams, a giant serpent flowed through a river that connected two islands, which were separated by a large body of water.
My grandfather, who appears in my dreams, remarked, "That’s the right time for such a creature to appear!"
In the midst of it all, I realized that sometimes the divine figures in my dreams can be hard to categorize as friends or foes.
While I navigate through life, I often feel like a character who can overcome challenges without hesitation.
Yet, I’ve also faced numerous trials, reflecting on the patterns of my life over the past three years.
As I strive to build my family's fortune, I often wonder about the cost of my efforts.
In a moment of reflection, I thought, "What if I can't repay these debts in this lifetime?"
But I believe that my lineage will continue to pay them off for generations.
It’s a strange existence, where even in the spiritual realm, financial burdens persist.
Ultimately, I want to remind everyone that even in the face of adversity, we must keep pushing forward.
Let’s continue to support each other and find strength in our struggles.
As I wrap up my thoughts today, I’ll end with a song that captures the essence of my vibrant teenage years.
Here’s to home sweet home!
