Hidden Gem Alert: Delicious Swiss Sandwiches near Gyeongbokgung Station!

I heard there was an amazing sandwich shop near Gyeongbokgung Station, so I had to visit!
This is a review after devouring a seriously delicious sandwich! I can't believe bread can be this moist. It's a bakery run by the only Swiss chef in Korea, so I couldn't miss it. It was my first time trying traditional Swiss bread, so I was filled with curiosity and anticipation.
Petits Pins
You can find it a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Gyeongbokgung Station.
Weekdays: 9 AM - 8 PM
Weekends: 10 AM - 7 PM
The shop is located in an alleyway, and it was a little maze-like, making it a bit confusing to find, but I arrived safely. Just follow the Swiss flag!
You'll find it at the end of the alley.
Petits Pins Menu
There's a 500 won discount if you buy a sandwich and a drink as a set.
We ordered the ham & cheese sandwich, salmon sandwich, apple tart, orange ade, and an iced Americano.
Of course, for two people! ^~^

I ate the entire apple tart. No wonder I've gained weight lately!
They also accept group orders/delivery (reservation required 2 days in advance). You can even get a 10% discount if you present your La Suisse receipt.
Tarts are sold whole or by the slice. They also have vegan salads.
The bread is displayed right across from the counter, and I really liked that it was packaged in bags! Everyone's worried about flies, you know?
They have Swiss traditional bread (Zopf, Weggli, rye bread) and desserts (Engadiner walnut pie, gluten-free carrot cake, etc.) near the counter. It's worth looking around because there are many kinds of bread I've never heard of before! I went expecting sandwiches, but there was so much bread, which was great.

The interior is quiet even on weekends because it's at the end of an alley. While I was eating there, I noticed quite a few people coming to get takeout! Maybe they eat at home instead of in the shop? There were also foreign customers!
The interior has a cozy Swiss mountain lodge atmosphere felt within a 100-year-old Japanese-style house. The outdoor blue garden and sunlight create a special relaxing space. Even if you're not getting takeout, I recommend sitting down and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere!

Ham & cheese sandwich, salmon sandwich, and apple tart!
The ham & cheese sandwich made with freshly baked bread looks amazing.

Look at the visuals of the salmon sandwich! It's packed with salmon and lots of vegetables, so you can't bite it all at once. And the key is the bread... I wonder if they sell it separately... This bread alone is amazing. It's not just chewy, but also moist and chewy, so the bread texture is fantastic. Next time, I'm going to ask what kind of bread they use for the sandwich.

For drinks, we ordered orange ade and coffee.
I don't drink coffee, so I had the orange ade, and it was delicious!
I recommend the orange ade! I'll definitely have the orange ade next time I come.

Apple tart!
It's packed with apples, so you can taste the apple no matter where you bite. It's not too sweet or dry, and the cream and jam are not too much, but a good balance of tartness.
If you don't like walnuts or carrots, a sweet apple tart is perfect for dessert.

The ham & cheese sandwich is filled with fresh vegetables, salty ham, and savory cheese.
One bite and the flavor spreads between the crispy bread, making it a simple but satisfying meal!
How about a ham & cheese sandwich made with freshly baked bread!

Look at the cross-section of the ham & cheese sandwich. It's substantial, right?
The fresh salmon sandwich, the filling ham & cheese sandwich, and the sweet apple tart can all be enjoyed in one place. A perfect combination that fills you with both satisfaction and sweetness.

It's a place that's been awarded a Blue Ribbon! No wonder the bread texture is amazing.
It was too hot, so I didn't even look outside, but they also set up a deck that harmonizes with the trees, so it would be nice to come back on a cool day that's perfect for a picnic and eat the sandwich outside. Then the sandwich will taste even better!

Next time I come, I'm going to try the basil chicken. I'm very satisfied that I found a hidden gem in the alley. Everyone, come and taste the sandwich made with crazy bread ASAP!!
