Hello! This is Jjinyu's blog today ☺️
Today, I visited Frank Coffee Bar in Galma-dong, Daejeon.
After the first branch in Doan-dong and the second in Dunsan-dong, the third branch in Galma-dong recently opened!
As I love this cafe, I had to visit right away! 😍
I knew the headquarters is in Jeonju, but I thought it was only in Daejeon. I was surprised to find out there are many branches across the country, including Sejong, Daegu, Jamsil, Suwon, and Nonsan!
Frank Coffee Bar is an espresso bar concept cafe, known for its vintage and emotional interior, making it a popular spot for taking photos.
With an exotic feel reminiscent of a European alley, the jazz music playing from the speakers and the low lighting solidify Frank Coffee Bar's unique identity!
The ordering area also has a nice vibe!
The coffee at Frank Coffee Bar is made from a blend of Brazilian and Ethiopian beans, featuring a flavor profile that balances milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Their signature espresso is a must-try, complemented by desserts like croffles, tiramisu, and baked goods.
The croffle has even been selected as one of the best croffles in the country by Eyes Magazine, so it’s definitely worth a try!
During the winter season, strawberries are a must-have ingredient, and Frank Coffee Bar offers a variety of strawberry-themed menu items that are visually stunning and sure to capture the hearts of many.
My order today included:
- Frank Coffee - 6,000 won
- Matcha Strawberry Latte - 7,500 won
- Strawberry Croffle - 14,000 won
While bright and airy cafes are lovely, I also enjoy the cozy and dimly lit ambiance of places like Frank Coffee Bar.
Frank Coffee is their signature cream coffee, featuring a cream art design with the Frank logo on top. The smooth and sweet cream complements the rich coffee flavor underneath, creating a well-balanced drink that is not overly sweet.
The matcha in the Matcha Strawberry Latte is made from premium Jeju matcha, offering a pleasant bitterness and deep flavor, harmonizing beautifully with the fresh strawberries for a delightful blend of sweetness, bitterness, and freshness.
The croffle is made fresh upon ordering, which is fantastic! It features a crispy exterior and moist interior topped with fresh strawberries, cream, and vanilla ice cream—a visually appealing treat that is sure to please!
The refreshing strawberries balance the sweetness of the croffle, making it a perfect pairing with coffee.
If you're looking to capture some emotional photos and enjoy a special drink with sweet desserts, I highly recommend visiting Frank Coffee Bar in Galma-dong, Daejeon!
