Gyeongju, a city steeped in history,

is a place with a unique charm, no matter when you visit ✨

Most people visit famous outdoor cultural heritage sites like Cheonmachong Tomb, Cheomseongdae Observatory, Daereungwon Tomb Complex, Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, and Bulguksa Temple. ???️????

This time, I chose a slightly different travel course.

I visited the OAR Museum, which opened in April 2025!????????

In a space where history and art coexist,

I experienced another charm of Gyeongju~

????The rooftop is accessible by stairs from the 2nd floor

《Takashi Murakami: Happy Flower》

Consists of 27 prints from Murakami's signature 'Happy Flower' series and 3 bags in collaboration with Louis Vuitton.

The exhibition was held next to the cafe on the 1st floor, so it was crowded with people.

It was difficult to appreciate the works slowly.

Nevertheless, the bright smiles of the colorful flowers were filled with

I was able to feel a lively and bright atmosphere overall.????????

《Etsu Egami: Echoes of the Earth》

This exhibition features works being unveiled for the first time in Korea.

Composed of 17 new works that express the themes of 'sound', 'memory', and 'identity' in abstract language.

An exhibition that shows how the smallest echoes from within an individual can spread to the center of the world.

In the 『Echoes of the Earth』 exhibition,

There was a point that I felt was unique and very modern,

That is, there is a QR code next to the work,

You can see the explanation of the work on your mobile phone????✨

Interesting Image

Thanks to that, I was able to appreciate the work with a deeper understanding!

Going up the stairs

You can see the blue sky on the rooftop

And the green tumulus view~

☔It was a bit cloudy that day because it was raining,

Still, my heart was wide open~

It was a natural landscape where I could relax and heal comfortably????

Finally, I went to the B1 exhibition hall????

《Moon Kyungwon & Jeon Joonho: Phantom Garden》

Through an unknown climate story where time and space are unknown

Crossing countless boundaries such as reality and unreality, human and non-human, nature and human, etc.

Media art that awakens our fixed senses and perceptions

The space is not large,

It was an exhibition hall with the beauty of blank space.

Beautiful Scenery

There were not many works, so I was able to finish the tour quickly.

Not many people stayed, so it was quiet.

Thanks to that, I was able to fall into thought

I was able to have a relaxing time✨

Returning to the first floor, I had a cup of coffee

I looked around the products made based on the works I had seen.

Recalling the works I had seen again

I was able to slowly enjoy the lingering feeling☕????????

Dreamlike Moment

The OAR Museum I visited on this trip to Gyeongju

While appreciating paintings and installations that are usually difficult to come across

Receiving new stimulation,

Being able to organize my own thoughts and feelings

It was a healing time!

I'd like to find another special space on my next trip.

I want to enjoy such a relaxing moment????

Finally, I will upload the author's words that resonated with me and

Enddddddd-

Real Korea, Curated for Global Travelers

WassupKorea is a next-generation platform designed for foreigners who want to truly experience Korea — not just as tourists, but as locals. While countless Koreans have shared their daily lives, food experiences, and cultural tips through blogs, videos, and social media, much of this valuable content remains locked behind language barriers. WassupKorea solves this by collecting and curating high-quality local content and making it accessible to global audiences through real-time AI-powered translation. Instead of superficial recommendations, users gain access to authentic, first-hand stories — from hidden street food spots to weekend mountain hikes — written by Koreans for Koreans, now reinterpreted for the world.

AI-Powered Personalization, Translation, and Voice Interaction

What sets WassupKorea apart is its deep integration of artificial intelligence at the core of the platform. AI matches users with personalized content based on their language, nationality, and travel interests. Whether you're looking for vegan Korean food in Jeonju or part-time job tips in Seoul, the platform's smart engine brings the most relevant, timely posts to the forefront. Every piece of content — blog summaries, local guides, user comments — is instantly translated using advanced AI translators. Users can also listen to posts via natural-sounding voice AI in their own language. Real-time voice translation in community chats allows for live conversations between users from different countries. With voice synthesis, AI can even "learn" your voice preferences to create a more natural and immersive experience.

A Living Community Driven by Local Content and Global Connection

WassupKorea is more than just an information portal — it’s an AI-driven community hub that grows smarter as users interact. Travelers and residents alike can share their own content via links from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, or directly post on the platform. AI categorizes the content, suggests similar posts, and connects users with shared interests. Foreigners living in Korea can also access essential resources like visa tips, rental guides, job listings, and lifestyle hacks. As more content is generated and more interactions occur, the AI refines its recommendations — creating a dynamic feedback loop that benefits every user. WassupKorea bridges the gap between Korea’s deep local knowledge and the global audience eager to explore it, forming a smart, multilingual, and inclusive platform for everyone curious about life in Korea.
