Bakest Brown: A Hidden Gem Cafe and Bakery Near Gangnam Station

You've probably seen it around Gangnam Station, right? Did you think it was just another trendy cafe and bakery?
Located on the cafe street that stretches behind Gangnam Station CGV, I'd passed by this white brick building countless times, always wondering if it was a cafe, a bakery, or something in between. I finally got to check it out!
It's called Bakest Brown, and it lived up to the "trendy cafe" image I had in my head perfectly.
It's a bakery with delicious breads and desserts, and a cafe where you can enjoy great coffee and other drinks.
It seems like a place I'll be visiting often because you can comfortably enjoy the space in your own way without feeling pressured!

Bakest Brown Location Information: 21, Gangnam-daero 102-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
Hours: Daily 11:00 - 22:30
Unfortunately, Bakest Brown doesn't have its own parking lot. You'll need to use nearby private or public parking facilities.
On this day, we had other business to take care of, so we parked at a public parking lot a bit further away.
That place was Yeoksam Culture Park Public Parking Lot No. 1. But since you have to walk a bit, I recommend using a private parking lot if you want to get around quickly.
If you're using public transportation, it's a 6-minute walk from Gangnam Station Exit 11 and a 4-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 6.
I've seen it countless times while eating, drinking coffee, or just walking around the area. Thinking about it, it's strange that I've never actually gone inside.
It's a fun place to watch stylish people sitting on the terrace in the spring and fall.
It's a bakery and cafe that sells delicious desserts and baked goods. Although I haven't tried many items on the menu, they haven't been disappointing and were quite good.
As soon as you enter, you'll see the counter and breads on display. It was a bit late in the evening, so many of the breads were already sold out.
But even with the remaining breads and desserts, we were able to have a delicious post-meal dessert time.
Each floor has a different atmosphere, so you can choose a seat that suits your preference.
Since it uses the entire building, there's plenty of seating available.
It seems like they have brunch menus and various signature items.
(I'm quite curious about the Chili Fried Rice...)
Even the remaining desserts look delicious enough.
The madeleines look quite impressive.
The Kouign-Amann and pastry breads are said to be famous.
I've often seen this place while going to and from Gangnam Station, but I never imagined there would be such pretty breads inside.
As a French pie lover, I couldn't resist choosing this one!
Overall, it's a bakery, but it feels more like a dessert cafe with some unique menu items.
Since we were tired from a long day, we wanted to relax in a quiet place, so we took a seat at a large table on the 3rd floor.
It's cool and comfortable, so I feel much better!
We each chose a sweet dessert that we wanted.
A bagel filled with plenty of cream and big chunks of kiwi in between.
The quality of the pastries is definitely good.
It's savory and has a nice crispy texture.
The latte has a rich flavor and the cream is chewy.
The cream latte is pretty good.
Finding a comfortable space,
Sitting comfortably,
A bite of delicious dessert,
A sip of your favorite drink.
A trendy cafe isn't just about being pretty, it's about having a good feeling of rest in that place.

I visited Bakest Brown, a brick building I often saw passing by, a cafe, bakery, and cafe near Gangnam Station.
The space itself is very comfortable, and the spacious area and seats provide a sense of healing, so I think it's a good place to visit for any purpose.
Both the baked goods and the coffee are above average, so I don't think you'll be disappointed with anything you eat.
