A Sweet Escape: Bingdongdaeng, a Bingsu Paradise in Gyeongsan

I visited Bingdongdaeng, a bingsu (shaved ice dessert) place in Jungbang-dong, Gyeongsan!
I stopped by for a dessert after dinner.
Bingdongdaeng
Address: 28, Jungang-ro 17-gil, Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do
You can park in front of or next to the store, so don't worry! It seems like there are usually spots available in the alley too.
So cute! The colors are so appealing.
They not only sell bingsu but also a variety of other desserts.
I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were.
They have a deal where you get a 20% discount on a dessert if you order it with bingsu! Awesome!
Oh, they have Seomun Market peanut bread! The nutty aroma is irresistible.
I went to Seomun Market not long ago just to get peanut bread, but I can buy it here in Gyeongsan now... I'll come here from now on!
Bingdongdaeng, a famous bingsu place in Jungbang-dong, also has a second floor!
There are pretty pamphlets on the stairs leading to the second floor, and I want to try everything on them.
The second floor has plenty of seating.
I noticed knitted scrubbers on the way up. The person who made these is very talented!
They gave me peanut bread as a service when I ordered bingsu.
Thank you for the meal!
Bingdongdaeng's watermelon bingsu had ice that was special.
It wasn't just regular ice but milk-based shaved ice, so it melted in my mouth instantly. The softness was incredible.
The subtle richness of the milk went perfectly with the large chunks of watermelon on top.
Definitely a top bingsu spot in Gyeongsan!
Looking around, everyone was eating watermelon bingsu.
I guess watermelon is the ultimate summer treat.
Another charm of Bingdongdaeng is their peanut bread.
When I ordered, they gave me a small plate as a service, and the crispy exterior and the savory peanuts inside were addictively delicious.
The complimentary serving was so good that I ended up buying more.
It was the perfect dessert combination when eaten with the bingsu.
The atmosphere of the place was cozy, and I enjoyed being able to relax and enjoy the bingsu.
It's rare to find a bingsu place in Gyeongsan that offers such carefully made bingsu and side menu items.
If you're looking for a refreshing dessert to enjoy in the summer, I highly recommend Bingdongdaeng, a bingsu paradise in Jungbang-dong.
If you're in Gyeongsan, be sure to visit!
