A Rainy Day Retreat at Cafe Hillgrass near Gwanggyo Mountain

It had been a while since I last visited the area around Gwanggyo Mountain.
With the weather turning cooler, I wanted to take a stroll and visit a cafe with a nice atmosphere.
It was a little disappointing that it rained, but rainy days have their own charm, don't they?
So, I ended up visiting Cafe Hillgrass.
If the weather had been better, I would have definitely sat on the terrace.
It would have been perfect to enjoy the Gwanggyo Mountain scenery with a cool breeze, but the rain made that impossible.
The entrance hallway was neat and tidy.
The cafe had a cozy, wood-toned atmosphere. Although not huge, the interior of this Gwanggyo Mountain cafe was quiet and cozy.
It was the perfect place to read a book or listen to music by the rainy window.
There were plenty of comfortable seats, making it a relaxing place for anyone to unwind. The counter was also neatly organized, which I appreciated.
There was ample space between the seats and the counter, which was a plus. The counter also had various event announcements, from sandwich sets and grilled chicken panini to caffeine-free options and even Jeju Island-related events.
It was fun to see the diverse drink menu and recommendations for nearby restaurants. The menu offered a wide range of options, from basic coffees to non-coffee drinks.
There was also a separate bean menu, which coffee enthusiasts would surely appreciate. I ordered a drink that was perfect for the weather these days.
I chose the jujube latte and an Americano. The jujube latte had a subtle sweetness and was very pleasant to drink. The Americano neatly cleansed my palate.
Warm drinks like these always seem to taste better on rainy days. There was also a variety of bread on display, which would be great with coffee.
Next time, I want to try ordering a drink and bread as a set. Inside, there was also a coffee bean roasting machine, which highlighted the cafe's unique identity.
It gave the feeling of a high-end cafe that roasts its own beans. Overall, the atmosphere was fantastic.
Cafe Hillgrass is definitely a place I want to remember for days when I want to relax quietly near Gwanggyo Mountain.
