A Delightful Visit to Guillaume Dessert Cafe

Guillaume is a dessert cafe I visit whenever I crave macarons or éclairs, and this time, I headed to the Cheongdam location because I wanted cake after a long time.
I visited at the beginning of the year, and there was a beautiful Christmas tree in front of the store, which would make for great photos at the end of the year!
The Cheongdam location of Guillaume is spacious with a lot of seating.
On this day, the cafe was nearly full, so I couldn't take any photos of the interior.
There is also a Guillaume store in Pangyo's Avenue France, but the Cheongdam location is larger.
Perhaps because pink is the brand's key color, the entire cafe has a very pink atmosphere.
It seems like a perfect spot for girls wanting to play princess.
Personally, I feel the ambiance was more luxurious before the store's renovation!
Previously, the wooden furniture contributed to a calm atmosphere.
Now, due to the tables and chairs, the overall vibe feels much more vibrant and pink.
However, whenever I want to enjoy desserts that are guaranteed to be delicious, I always find myself returning to Guillaume.
I don't remember exactly when I first visited, but I think it was about ten years ago.
Guillaume offers a wide variety of products, from pastries to cakes, éclairs, macarons, baked goods, and cookies.
The desserts are visually appealing, and the packaging is well done, making them great for gifts.
On this day, the cafe was crowded, and since the drinks were reasonably priced, I only took out desserts.
The La Barre Chocolat was 12,900 won, and the Lucy was 13,900 won.
In fact, I also bought pistachio and Earl Grey macarons that day, but I couldn't take photos because I ate them right away.
The La Barre Chocolat felt almost like eating a chocolate bar.
It was incredibly rich and chocolatey, perfect for chocolate lovers.
Although it was said to contain cranberries, the chocolate flavor was so strong that it was hard to detect.
Lucy is a pistachio cake, and while the pistachio mousse could be heavy, the cherries added a refreshing touch that balanced the overall flavor nicely.
Personally, I preferred Lucy over the two options!
Although it's a well-known place, if you're looking for luxurious and delicious desserts, I think visiting Guillaume at least once would be a good idea.
