Yangju City Hosts Successful 2025 Job Fair

Hello, we are the Yangju City SNS Citizen Supporters.
We recently visited the '2025 Yangju City and Gyeonggi Province 2040+5070 Integrated Job Fair' held in Yangju last Tuesday.
Organized by the Yangju Job Center and the Gyeonggi Job Foundation, the event was large in scale and well-structured. It seemed to offer practical assistance to those considering employment or career changes, with many helpful booths.
Arriving at the Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center's convention hall as the fair began, we found the entrance bustling with people.
Job seekers of various ages, from young adults to middle-aged individuals, were present, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
The Yangju Job Fair, as its name suggests, was an integrated recruitment event tailored to both the 2040 (youth) and 5070 (middle-aged) demographics.
It wasn't just a collection of company booths; it was designed to include everyone from first-time job seekers to middle-aged individuals considering a career change. The fair's biggest feature was that recruitment, counseling, experience, and education were all available in one place.
Before the main event, there was a pre-job lecture that many people attended.
Under the theme of 'Job Strategies to Change Tomorrow,' star lecturer Hwang In, known as the 'God of Employment' from You Quiz, provided insights into the latest recruitment trends, tips for writing resumes and cover letters, and interview strategies.
After the lecture, as we moved to the job fair, the job counseling center in the hallway before the entrance was already in full swing.
Career coaching and financial counseling were available here.
Upon entering, the recruitment hall was on the left, and booths of related organizations were visible straight ahead.
Job postings identical to those on the recruitment board were immediately visible upon entry.
The recruitment hall, the heart of the job fair, featured companies from various industries such as manufacturing, service, and distribution, conducting on-site interviews.
The recruitment board provided a comprehensive view of participating companies and job openings.
Each booth had a different atmosphere, with some companies proceeding directly to first-round interviews after brief consultations, creating a palpable sense of tension among job seekers.
Popular company booths had long lines, and company representatives actively provided explanations, contributing to an overall lively atmosphere.
Related organizations such as the Yangju Job Center, Yangju Employment Center, Women's New Job Center, and Youth Center also participated in the fair.
We participated in a career assessment at the Youth Center using the LRTC test.
Although conducted in an abbreviated format due to the venue, the energy temperament analysis test was based on several surveys.
The temperament pattern diagnosis provided visual suggestions through color codes, indicating suitable tasks, which was surprisingly accurate.
In front of it, there were resume writing stations and rest areas for writing resumes for on-site interview participation, and the atmosphere at the scene was full of passion!!!
On the way to the auxiliary event hall, a satisfaction survey and a Yutnori game were in progress as events, and we were able to participate directly and receive souvenirs.
There weren't many side events, but the first places we saw were resume photo shoots and interview makeup, and the participation events were in full swing.
In addition, there were various events such as job tarot, fingerprint aptitude tests, and personal color diagnosis, and it was fun to experience them directly.
At the end, even a job experience hall for 정리 수납 (organizing and storage) experts!
Personal color and job tarot were popular, and the programs were great because they made the unique heavy atmosphere of preparing for a job a little lighter.
Overall, the 2025 Yangju Job Fair felt like an event that included the entire job preparation process, going beyond simple recruitment.
The atmosphere was bright and lively, and it was a well-organized event where you could solve information, counseling, experience, interviews, and photo shoots for employment at once.
The Yangju Job Fair is an event that can be recommended without burden even to those who are participating for the first time, and it would be good if Yangju City and Gyeonggi Province continue to expand such employment support programs in the future~
