Voco Hotel Myeongdong: A Memorable Stay

보코 서울 명동, IHG 호텔

Last summer, I visited the 'Voco Hotel Myeongdong' and I am excited to share my experience of this amazing hotel stay!
As part of the IHG group, the Voco Hotel(보코 서울 명동, IHG 호텔) offers a clean and modern lobby that sets the tone for a pleasant stay.
Its location is perfect, close to the bustling Myeongdong area and the Namdaemun market, making it a great choice for travelers.
During my summer getaway, I booked a room for three friends, which was ideal for a fun staycation.
The room was perfect for three people, especially the cozy sofa area where we enjoyed late-night snacks and chats.
One of the highlights of the Voco Hotel in Seoul is the stunning view of Namsan Tower from the room.
The bed was spacious enough for three, and we appreciated the coffee capsules, water, and snacks provided.
The view of Namsan Tower from our room was breathtaking, making our stay even more enjoyable.
We also booked a room that included access to the club lounge, which was a delightful experience!
The lounge offered a fantastic view and was pleasantly quiet, allowing us to relax.
During afternoon tea time, there were light snacks and drinks available, including coffee.
We took advantage of the happy hour, which had unlimited drinks and plenty of finger foods to enjoy.
While the offerings were decent for the price, they were more of a light snack rather than a full meal.
We enjoyed sipping drinks while taking in the beautiful Namsan view, making it a perfect way to unwind.
As the evening approached, we were reminded of the lost Millennium Hilton Seoul's view of Namsan, which we fondly reminisced about.
With a convenience store within the hotel, it was easy to grab snacks for our late-night cravings.
We ordered some spicy food to satisfy our hunger!
For dessert, we indulged in some sweet treats that added to our delightful experience.
Our stay at the Voco Hotel Myeongdong was truly a memorable one, with stunning views and great amenities.
Breakfast was included with our lounge-access room, which was a pleasant surprise!
Though the breakfast area was small, it offered a variety of dishes ranging from Korean to Western cuisine.
I made sure to take plenty of photos for a review of the breakfast offerings!
There were even options like salmon and yogurt, along with a selection of baked goods.
One downside was the lack of ice, but it was a minor issue.
After a hearty breakfast, we took a stroll to the nearby flower market, but we got drenched in a sudden downpour!
Despite the unexpected rain, it became a cherished memory of our trip.
That wraps up my review of the 'Voco Hotel Myeongdong' staycation!
Here are some photos from our wonderful experience:
