Valentine's Day Chocolate Recommendations in Seoul

Valentine's Day is just around the corner on February 14th!
Have you all prepared your chocolate gifts?
Although it's a commercial and formal occasion, I still seek romance.
So, I gifted my husband some chocolate in advance.
I recommend SNOW for Valentine's Day chocolate gifts in Seoul.
Hello, this is Jjangzel!
With the five-day Lunar New Year holiday starting, I bet office workers are super excited!
(Currently enjoying my time off and living the unemployed life.)
Today, I'm sharing a review of a chocolate pop-up store that is perfect for gifting to your boyfriend or husband for Valentine's Day!
SNOW House of Shinsegae Cheongdam Pop-up
Snow Sand (5 pieces) - 24,000 KRW
Address: 442 Dosan-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, House of Shinsegae Cheongdam
Business Hours: 10:30 AM - 10:00 PM
Located on Cheongdam Street near Apgujeong Rodeo Station,
the House of Shinsegae Cheongdam has opened its third pop-up store for the beloved Japanese dessert brand, SNOW.
I think I visited once when there was only a food market, but this time I returned to get some Valentine's Day chocolates.
The House of Shinsegae Cheongdam is not just a department store; it's a curation platform.
It's a place to find comfort and relaxation, not just for a specific purpose.
Anyway, House of Shinsegae is a rising hot spot in Cheongdam, famous for its “Twelve Wonder Bar.” I plan to visit there next time.
The SNOW pop-up store is located on the basement level of the House of Shinsegae, so take the escalator down.
Once you arrive, you'll find a cozy space reminiscent of a food court.

There are a variety of products available at SNOW.
From Snow Cookies to Snow Balls, individual items as well as gift sets for the upcoming Lunar New Year are prepared.
Since this year's Lunar New Year coincides with Valentine's Day, preparing chocolate gifts instead of mundane items like anchovies or cooking oil would be special.
Snow Sand (5 pieces) - 24,000 KRW
Snow Sand (8 pieces) - 38,400 KRW
Snow Sand (16 pieces) - 76,800 KRW
I chose the Snow Ball, and I will share the price and review below.
The pop-up space isn't very large, but there are cookie models for reference when purchasing, reminiscent of the Jeju version of Paris Baguette.
I couldn't find this in Japan, but I'm glad to experience it here in Korea during the Valentine's Day season.
The 8-piece pack comes in a round case, which is beautiful, and I doubt I could throw it away even after eating all the chocolates.

Snow Ball (9 pieces) - 29,800 KRW
I found the reviews for Snow Balls to be exceptionally good.
The packaging was neat, and when I brought it home, I appreciated the detailed information about thawing dates, expiration dates, and nutritional information.
The expiration date is until April 8, 2026, but since I thawed it on February 12, it's best to consume it within 48 hours.
When I opened the box, I found the chocolates along with an ice pack, confirming the Japanese knack for cleanliness.
Inside the sealed chocolate box, there are nine round chocolate Snow Balls that look irresistible.
The size is perfect for a special Valentine's Day gift.
During tasting, the Snow Ball reminded me of the trendy desserts I’ve seen lately, and even though they are smaller than other desserts, they are still premium treats.
My husband and I enjoyed them together, and he was very satisfied with the taste.
The House of Shinsegae Cheongdam is conveniently located near Apgujeong Rodeo Station, making it easy to find and a great stop while shopping or dining nearby.
I hope this helps anyone looking for Valentine's Day chocolates in Seoul. Enjoy your holiday and Happy New Year!
